Mike Charrier coached the Hicks girls to a Class B title last year. Semi-finalist Fairview’s coach Jinks was named coach of the year.
This year he coached Hicks girls to a Class C title, defeating defending champion Plainview in the finals. Plainview’s coach was named coach of the year. I suppose if Hicks would not win the title, he might receive consideration. Either that or change the school’s name to Hickview.
