Seems Gileads drug purposed for Ebola has shown remarkable effects on covid so fsr in severe patients.
Problem is supply as demand begins to outstrip supply.
And that is why flattening the curve has been so important. It isnt that the virus is weak. It seems weak for majority of people, but rather the system and those it is ravaging in the population at large. To keep them supplied woth frugs that work while limiting hospital occupancy this virus can be properly lived with until a proper vaccine is developed.
Just my two cents. Nothing more

People like to throw out numbers like ".25% of the population" or " look at this low death rate, can't lock everyone down for just a few " etc, but what many fail to realize is that most hospitals have a very small ICU. The U.S has between 20 to 30 ICU beds per 100,000 citizens.

So why not. It is an Asthma treatment in a rapid relief inhaler, but he calls for putting it in a nebulizer.

Guess if we made it to the point where only a quarter of a percent needs an ICU bed as long as we don’t have 30-35 million open cases at a time we shouldn’t be in danger of running out.
