2A: Kinder is always in the mix. Rosepine might make a run. Many has really invested in their baseball and softball programs so they might be a factor. Doyle and Mangham would be the favorites. Avoyelles Charter made a run in 2019. Loreauville could be there too.
Div 3: Notre Dame and Menard should be there again. St. Thomas Aquinas could be a factor.
1A: Oak Grove
Div IV : Ouachita Christian
B: doubt any of them can beat Holden
C: Plainview won it last. Calvin and Harrisonburg. Hackberry use to rule C so they could be a factor.

5A - Barbe would be the early season favorite to win it all. They have top tier pitching and the top of their lineup might be the best in the region, much less the state). Sam Houston will still be young, but they are loaded. St. Amant, Walker and Live Oak
4A - Tioga and West Ouachita should be serious contenders with the pitchers they have.
3A - Brusly will be the favorite as the perennial Blue Blood. North Vermillion will have a solid team as well. Sleeper of the Division will be Iowa. They have a lineup that could potentially rival anyone in the state , in any division.
2A - Doyle will be tough to beat this year, I don't see an upset for them unless it's in Sulphur. Rosepine has a great pitcher that has been tested through her travel ball and they can make a serious run on her arm.

I saw every player from last years team is back and all but like 4 were starters in their 2018 State Championship. I personally believe it will be Doyle vs Many for the title. Doyle will be well tested with the schedule this year they have playing Walker, Holden, Live Oak, and more.

Many Doyle Mangham Kinder
Will be the final four. I see Many winning it. We will have a very strong lineup and very good pitching.

Many Doyle Mangham Kinder Will be the final four. I see Many winning it. We will have a very strong lineup and very good pitching. I believe it will be either Doyle and Many in the championship or Doyle and someone else. Many is strong but the one thing that always gets them is the lack of strength in their schedule. The only reason I'm saying Doyle should be in it is because they have a veteran squad that has a very strong lineup and three great pitchers. They will also be battle tested with playing teams like Dominican, Parkview, Holden, Walker, Live Oak, Mt. Carmel, Hannan, and many more. Doyle also has 3 plus signees and did not lose a single senior last year. I think a Many vs Doyle game would be a very close great game. Both teams have strong pitching and a strong lineup. Im not saying Doyle will win it all because that is cocky and anyone could lose at any moment of time, but don't count them out.
