Interesting final tonight with LCA winning 7-3. I don’t have a dog in the fight and I understand it’s a scrimmage, but the Knights might be on the rise. Lafayette I’m sure will bounce back in a big way with some of the talent they have.

Lafayette I’m sure will bounce back in a big way with some of the talent they have. LCA program is definitely trending in the right direction. There’s some young talent that already has a good deal of experience from playing so many freshman and sopres, and even some 8th graders over the last couple of years. |

Still, don't read too much into scrimmages or early season games. Most teams are still working on their lineup and pitching rotations. |

I think LCA will be state championship contenders in 2022. I’m very interested to see what they can accomplish this season though. Talented group, but very few seniors.

Keep an eye on their softball team too. They've made significant investments in their baseball and softball programs. Gunner Leger joined their coaching staff in October. Being in district with Notre Dame and Welsh will be a good measuring stick as well.

The Coach at LCA has got the ball rolling for his program. I actually think he will make a run for the distance in the next year. He knows what he is doing over there and got them boys moving in the right direction |
