we are at the halfway point of the softball season, who are the teams you predict will be at State?
Here are mine:
5A- St.Amant Barbe Walker
4A- ??
3A- Kaplan Jena Lutcher Sterlington
2A- Doyle Rosepine and Many (its out of those 3 for the title. Doyle has a strong strong team)
1A- ?
B- Holden will be back in the championship
C-?
D1- Dominican John Curtis Mt. Carmel
D2- Hannan St. Thomas More
D3- Notre Dame will win it
D4-?
D5-?

Class 4A: Beau Chene
Class 3A: Kaplan
Class 2A: Doyle, Rosepine, Many, Kinder
Class 1A: Merryville, Oak Grove, La Salle
Class B: Holden
Class C: Calvin, Summerfield
Division I: John Curtis
Division 2: Hannan
Division 3: Notre Dame
Division 4: Catholic PC, Calvary Baptist

I saw where Many won 10-0, are they a decent team or did Winnfield have a bad game? I didn’t go, but I do know that Many is good. Im thinking it was a combo of both. |

Notre Dame overcomes 3-0 deficit to beat Port Barre 4-3 in District 6-2A play. Could Port Barre be an emerging threat in the Class 2A Championship race ?

It’s gonna be Many and Doyle. I don’t see anybody stopping the Many this year. I don't think Kinder will threaten this year most likely but don't count your chickens just yet. One of them or both of them will have to go thru Rosepine. |

I know Doyle, Rosepine, and Many are the top teams in 2a right now. Many evidently has played a decent schedule with competition because they are almost a full point ahead of Doyle in the power points. I’m not bashing many by all means, evidently they are a good team by also be ranked top 4 every season. Many is also 5 games ahead of Doyle. There is also a way to play the power point system. In playoffs it doesn’t matter if you are the top seed or not. It’s all in who you played during the season and how you prepared you are from the schedule your coach made. It always shows in the end. |

Not trying to slight anybody, Doyle is very good. I believe Many is the better team this year....much better lineup. its gonna be fun to watch.
