What is everyone's out look for their favorite team's this season? My first season without a dog in the fight. Pinevilles future interests me. Seeing how Alexanderia and Tioga reload is going to be interesting as well. What's everyone's early predictions around the state?

For NWLA
1A: Calvary won’t drop off much even after losing their 2 best WRs. They still have the 1 of the best QBs in the state Homer should be tough
2A: If NC has a QB.... they look like they might have 2 of the top WRs in the area both having D1 Offers
3A: Green Oaks losing their QB will knock them back quite a bit. I’ve heard great things about their coach but I think the top team will be Mansfield or Loyola
4A: Should be the most interesting class/ district Huntington is loaded Minden will be tough again ND flipped their season around and finished strong. Northwood should be good again even after losing their all time leading rusher Evangel..... hope they can win 1
5A: Underwhelming season last year has created lots of storylines here... Byrd fan, but I don’t see them having the same success regardless of who they hire. Shreve has a new OC and the best athlete in the city Haughton and Benton might be able to take this district too Can Parkway get back to the top? Still trying to find success since Feaster left

For NWLA 1A: 5A: Byrd fan, but I don’t see them having the same success regardless of who they hire. Two possible scenarios for Byrd.(1) Byrd will hire Dennis Dunn and he will put small b's on Byrd's helmets and find another Brock Berlin type quarterback and be blessed with 12 D-1 starters. He will go with five wideouts on first down and outscore opponents by 32 points a game. The Jackets will become the South Lake Carroll of Louisiana with a pass happy offense and win 60 straight games and a national championship. Then Byrd will be accused of recruiting but Dunn will just laugh and raise a finger to the sky and say "to God be the Glory" and "the best is yet to come." Then he will be fired by Byrd for texting a cheerleader and return to take the head coaching job at Evangel.
(2) Byrd will promote a head coach from within the current progrm, the Jackets will keep their ground and pound offense, pass only twice a game and both times it will be on third and 17, win some district titles with a lot of 7-3 seasons and lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs every year for the next twenty years. In other words Byrd will be Byrd.
I wonder which it will be?

Many returns pretty much the whole defense. The majority of the defense was actually sophmores last year. They will be very stout in the box and will be extremely good on the back end (Tackett Curtis and Tylin Singleton). The offense will have two homerun running backs (London Williams) and a bigger better Offensive line. Throw in two athletic QBs and the Many Tigers should be in the mix again.

I wonder which it will be?Byrd will keep doing what they do with a coach not named Dunn. They are happy to be the big dog in the area and get done with football soon after district wraps up. Shreveport isn't all that serious about HS football.

Avoyelles ... we lost 3 seniors from last season. We return pretty much our whole team. We will be better than last season. We are really stronger and bigger. All state Running Back Carlos Bazert, will be a junior. He is 6’1 255 lbs. He should be a hoss this season. So we will see.

I believe Louisiana football is going to be loaded next season as much as it has been in a LONG long time.
STM should be a national power. Catholic is filthy loaded. Acadiana has talent running out of their buttsholes in all classes. Many has major DI talent as a 2A squad. Karr is still loaded as usual with two LSU commits. Zachary is overflowing with ridiculous talent returning 10 starters in defense with possibly the best young receiver in louisiana as a sopre to be in Luke Wisham. Neville is a senior laden team with immense talent and should be in the title game this year with Karr along with the best LT in the south.
Louisiana is going to be loaded all around. Lots of incredible young Quarterbacks like the state has never seen before at one time. I didnt even mention Arch Manning and Newmans ridiculous offense talent at WR, OL, and QB.
Baton Rouge has 3 or 4 quarterbacks from 2023 that will be top in the nation qith Zachary, Denham Springs, Woodlawn, Scotlandville, all having top level top end QB talent.
And the scheduling by teams are made for amazing matchups for everyone to enjoy. Very excited for the coming season.
Two teams i am really keen to wanting to see in person this year: Woodlawn and Many. Many i think is in the cusp of some incredible success. Woodlawn may be the new power in BR nonselect and their bout with Zachary (if they are indeed playing) will be must watch.

What I want to know: has Chalmette fixed their defense? Is Ehret done? Is Coach Salt stealing HC’s money? Will J.T. ever win it again? Who else will rise in 8-5A? Will Coach Manale make a difference? Will BM stay on top? Does Newman have dawgs? Is South Plaq on the way back?
No NOLA area team won a championship last season

Seeing how Alexanderia and Tioga reload is going to be interesting as well. What's everyone's early predictions around the state? I feel like Ash will now lock down their side of the river in Rapides parish. That goes with saying that Peabody and Bolton will just continue their same outcome. The ash coaches have it going. On the other side of the river, buckeye will continue with their status quo (see Peabody and Bolton). Tioga has made their side of the river theirs in recent years. They have the wins to show. But their long time DC has now gone to Pineville as the head coach, so it will be interesting to see if he can regain some traction for Pineville. Justin Webb from northwood-Lena head coach just went to Pineville as OC, so there are some interesting moves going on there.
