To avoid having huge districts (which I don't think anyone likes) the breakdown for the north half of the state could be changed to:
1-2A (Shreveport Area) 1. Calvary Baptist 2. Evangel 3. Green Oaks 4. Mansfield 5. North Caddo 6. Red River
2-2A (East of Shreveport/West of Monroe) 1. Beekman Charter 2. D'Arbonne Woods 3. Jonesboro-Hodge 4. Lakeside
3-2A (West of Monroe) 1. Ferriday 2. Madison Parish 3. Mangham 4. Oak Grove 5. Rayville 6. Vidalia
4-2A (Alexandria area) 1. Avoyelles 2. Menard 3. Lakeview 4. Many 5. Winnfield

Beekman is quite a bit closer to Rayville and Mangham and those others than they are to J-Hodge or Lakeside. Way way closer. Geographically this doesn't make a lot of sense for them.
Also, as far as I know, they're still not playing varsity football, they're just "independent". So you can just ignore them.

Loyola College Prep in Shreveport is probably going to drop to 2A.

Beekman never stopped playing varsity football. They quit playing their district opponents, thereby making them ineligible for district honors and/or playoffs. They still get placed in a district, and compete in said district for all other sports. They're thinking was it was better to build the program by scheduling people they could compete with, rather than getting demolished by the likes of Ferriday, Mangham, etc. when they weren't going to make the playoffs anyway having to play in a large district with people they couldn't beat.

I stand corrected. They still play "varsity" football, they're just scared to play the people they're supposed to. Thanks for the clarification. Were they ever in a district or have they always been this way? I thought at one point they had been in a district. But actually I guess the last time I remember hearing about them I think it was in a 1-A district. So maybe they bumped up to 2-A and got scared? Are they on the bubble between 1-A and 2-A? Also: "their" thinking. Not "they're". You're using the contraction for "they are", which wouldn't make any sense in the statement you made. The more you know.
