Is Anacoco the team to beat or is there some others out there that can compete with them. I hear they are really good played some good competition this year

They've already lost a district game to Elizabeth so I'd say there's definitely teams that can compete with them In Class B. Choudrant is 25-3 and ranked#1 in Class B. Look out for Zwolle and Florein as well. Anacoco is very good for Class B though.

From what I understand, Alligood hasn’t been pitching because of arm soreness...not sure how accurate that is. If true, and they get him back for the playoff run...no team in class B will hit him.

Look out for Zwolle and Florein as well. Anacoco is very good for Class B though. Anacoco is good but Choudrant is the team to beat in Class B. Many say this team is better than the last Choudrant team that won State in 2017. Sabine Parish has a chance to send two teams to Sulphur between Converse, Florien and Zwolle. |

I haven't seen Anacoco, maybe they are the team to beat. But we've played 5 of the top 10 teams in B (Choudrant, Zwolle, Quitman, Weston and Converse). I honestly think any of the five could beat anyone else in B if they have a good game and maybe a little luck.
Of those, I would have to say Choudrant and Converse have the best chance at making a run with Quitman a close third.
Choudrrant is very good defensively, has a couple of pretty good arms and their entire lineup can hit the ball.
Converse isnt't as good defensively but they can hit and have one pretty good side arm pitcher. Sometimes those side arms pitchers can throw off even good hitting teams.

Was told by a parent last night, that their coach resigned this week. If that’s true there is no telling how those boys will react to the new coach.
