What’s everyone’s opinion on the attendance being restricted to 825 for each session? I’ve personally do not see where they came up with this number. In the past I wouldn’t be surprised if their were that many watching one game. It just doesn’t make sense with bleachers all the way around the fields and all the standing room available.

The attendance limit is bad but not selling tickets in advance is even worse. They really expect fans to drive hours to Sulphur just hoping they can get a ticket. They made sure to mention that they won't provide coolers, you have to bring your own, and make sure there's no logo other than the LHSAA sponsor. With all the turf complexes in the state, they should have spread it out so attendance wouldn't be limited. This all boils down to putting corporate sponsors before the kids.

Anybody know when tickets go on sale and if there are any limits to how many you can buy?

What is so unintelligent about suggesting that playing games at home as opposed to a neutral site? I may or may not agree with the idea , but I certainly wouldn't classify it as the dumbest post. Especially given :posts suggesting an extra year of HS for athletes, "modern offenses", multiple pages of back and forth over the word "completely", nearly anything Indy posts etc. What are the benefits of Sulphur hosting?

Sulphur has the best setup to host multiple games at a time. If you're a baseball fan that enjoy spending the day watching baseball, Sulphur allow you to watch two games at the same time without leaving your seat. When you go notice how a group of guys and their buddy will camp all day in one spot just to watch baseball. Sure you can move to Natchitoches but they don't have the bleacher to accommodate all those fans. Lastly, State Championship should be determine on a neutral field. Giving a team home field advantage is not the way to determine who the best in their respected class.

When do tickets go on sale on GoFan for semifinals? And I’m assuming the Championship tickets will go on sale after the semis conclude right?

Giving a team home field advantage is not the way to determine who the best in their respected class. I wasn't suggesting a move to another local for multiple games. From what I understand, holding a big multiple day, multiple game event at a location other than Sulphur would be just as foolish as trying to create another Football Classic at a location other than the Superdome. I just don't think the idea of NOT having a classic could be considered the dumbest thing. Also, I am not sure I would consider homefield advantage that big a deal, especially with Semi finals and finals being single elimination (correct?) If it were a 3 game series, I would probably feel differently.

I read somewhere that after the governor’s briefing today that outdoor events will not have a attendance limit, so will this loosen the restrictions for Sulphur this weekend?

I just saw that LHSAA considering to open up back to 100% for softball and baseball. Shouldn’t be a consideration...no game this spring that I have attended has had any mask/distance/attendance anything and the world is still spinning. Let these kids play with full stadiums!
