Word on the street is Kinder will have a new coach next season? Thats the word I’ve heard but idk why lol I guess Kinder fans are greedy? |

Why would kinder be looking for a new coach the one there has done nothing but win. Won a state title if I'm not mistaken did the one that was there move up into administration or something

Word on the street is Kinder will have a new coach next season? This rumor turned out to be true. Announced yesterday that Rick Whittington will be the next baseball coach. If the name sounds familiar, its because he was the man who put Kinder baseball on the map in the 90's, then left for career in the Bureau of Prisons. When he left coaching back in 2000, he was definitely one of the top young coaches in the state. Kinder is very fortunate to have him back. |

What happened to the last guy they had @ Kinder? Did they fire him or he left? I thought he had a good thing going there.

Coach Kenny Courville moved up into administration and now is currently working for the school board great guy and a molder of young men. Tyler Chachere took over as head coach I beleive for two seasons not exactly sure what happened with him but coach Rick will have kinder still competitive in baseball on the state level. Now if we can do something about our basketball program we have never been extremely succesful in that sport. 2005 or 2006 we lost with a three pointer from half court at the buzzer to red river in the quarterfinals and haven't really been succesful since |

Yes Griffin Cooley committed to LSU think he may be the first out of Kinder to do so? He also plays safety for us he is the younger brother of Welles Cooley who was our QB in 2014 and 2015 and played college ball at McNeese. Griffin is an awesome athlete |

It's long past due especially with Basile starting one Highly past due. I think Basile starting a program was the last straw for anyone who still wanted to make excuses on why we couldn't do it because if Basile can we can too. There has been support for baseball and softball in Elton for years and people got tired of being told no by admin and thats when a lot of people starting flooding to Kinder. Finally got an administration that supports it too. Our new principal was the head FB coach at Iowa but also coached baseball at Iowa and played baseball at McNeese when he was in college. No time frame on a start yet but it's in motion. Finding a place to play is the biggest hurdle currently. Elton athletics have finally hit a turning point. Volleyball started this year, cross country was brought back, baseball and softball are in motion. Good things on the horizon for EHS |
