Not trying to knock Young, he's definitely a talented QB, but the kid from Pitt had a much bigger impact. Alabama could win with me playing QB. How often have you heard Pitt being talked about on the national level?
Kinda reminds me of the 2000 Heisman vote when Chris Weinke and Josh Heupel both got more votes than Drew Brees when he was at Purdue. Heck they even got more votes than LaDainian Tomlinson.

Heck they even got more votes than LaDainian Tomlinson. 100% agree, Pickett should have been the Heisman winner and he deserved it the most. But Pitt wasn't a title contender and that seems to be the deciding factor. Can't win the Heisman if you lose to Western Michigan. At least he finished ahead of the Ohio State QB. Pickett should have been at least 2nd but Michigan and Alabama are 1 and 2.

that DE from Michigan also certainly had a case. Best case for a DL to win the award since Suh in 09
