It’s right around the corner! Let’s start talking about the upcoming season! All classes and divisions! DeQuincy will be very young this season and possibly a rebuilding year but they will still be very competitive as always! Brady Carlson always does a fantastic job every year with the program! |

I have the sterlington panthers repeating in 3a. Absolutely freaking loaded. They didn't rebuild they reloaded. They have the potential to be even better than last year.

Loreauville reloading as usual. Replacing 2 outfielders, 1 infielder, and 1 pitcher.

Sterlington lost a lot from last year’s team, but the good thing is a lot of the younger guys were able to get experience. They also return an arm that sits in the mid to upper 80’s. Coach Sims will have them geared up and primed for another deep playoff run.

What's the outlook for 1A? Lasalle should be a contender but after that I'm not too familiar. I expect Logansport to be competitive but have been too inconsistent it the past couple of years, hopefully the addition of their new assistant coach will help iron out those wrinkles to the point where they will be contenders.

ND and Rosepine repeat in Div III and 2A respectively. Rosepine is just too loaded and ND is loaded with pitching which of course will win you a lot of games.
Barbe will be Barbe with Sam Houston giving them a run.
Teurlings and STM will be down North Vermilion will surprise just like last year.

My son said that it should be ready, he said that it looked like all that was left was to roll out the turf but I haven't heard officially. |

There's nothing wrong with them. There schedule is brutal anyone expecting them to come out of that thing without losses is crazy. The lost to a good 5a team in Haughton. St freds has got some hosses on the mound they will be a factor in D4. Neville probably has the best team they've had in a while. Sterlington still has a lot of tough games left. They should be down in Sulphur.

They should be down in Sulphur. st freds will not touch ascension catholic.. they are the best team in that division.. i hope y’all do make it.. berwick has some tough ones still in st charles catholic, north vermilion, and LCA.. pitching for berwick is better than last year and the defense is good.. |

Got a couple of guys that’s been injured that are seniors that will come back and help out as well. We will be ready by playoff time, quarterfinal run for sure.
