Ok I know there quite fans from this district. Unfortunately I won't be making as many games as I would like this year but what is everyone's thoughts so far? Here's mine. Dq-Looking poised for a good year. Ashworth, Maddox, Gary, and Gary should carry this team well. Rosepine- Maybe stronger than last year. Good showing so far. Have alot of the same cast as last year along with 2 sopre I believe who will contribute. Frey, Smith, Trull, Ducote. Tilly? , Donahue all should have big years. Kinder-Lost only 2 starters but looks like they are trying to find some continuity during a tough schedule. Fawcett, Schmidt, and Cooley will lead the way. Freshman catcher is a big kid that looks impressive. Oakdale- Good w against Jena. Looks like they return everyone. Played some good teams close maybe a sleeper. Daniels kid returns from injury to help Dauzat and Johnson. Vinton- should be about like last year. Nothing really sticks out to me right now. Warner, Tharp, Bunting and English are their guys. Pickering- Young inexperienced slightly better than last year. Just my thoughts so far. Looking forward to some good baseball and discussion

Rosepine and kinder I believe are the front runners. This is a very strong district should have teams ready for the playoffs. Kinder will be fine their pitching is very good and they can hit with anyone

DeQuincy is playing some great ball right now and the bats have been hot, the pitching is our weakness this year as far as depth is concerned but we have a great defense backing them, Oakdale is going to shock some people in district. I don’t believe there are any front runners yet, DQ, Kinder, and Rosepine are obviously the favorites but I think it’s still a tad early to determine a true front runner especially with Oakdale turning heads, I believe district play is going to be WILD in a couple weeks.
