What's everyone's thoughts and predictions? Logansport makes their first trip to the semifinals in school history so we're pretty excited up our way. We face a tough opponent in Grand Lake but the beauty about baseball is that it's hard to predict, anything can happen on any given day. If Logansport plays to their best abilities then it could be a really close game and be decided at the end,our record does not match our capabilities as we have struggled with errors being a really young team. Oak Grove vs LaSalle should be a good match up in the other half of the bracket.

I’m going with Grand Lake and Oak Grove in the finals. I think Oak Groves schedule was tougher than LaSalle’s. I may giving the experience at Grand Lake the nod over Logansport.

I can see that but as a Logansport fan I hope you're wrong, Grand Lake is definitely the better team though. I just hope our boys keep it close and make it a good game. |

We have 2 juniors and 2 seniors and the rest of the starters are sopres and freshmen. We stayed within a few runs of North DeSoto and 4A Northwood and was even up 5-0 on our #2 seed LaSalle before having a complete meltdown against them. So it basically depends which team decides to show up that day, definitely capable of the upset. |

Ironic how it works out sometimes. Football season before last, GL and OG met for the championship. GL had a lineman that was something like 6' 8", and well over 300 lbs. lol. I think this game is a toss-up. But if I had to bet, I'd go with GL.

I think this game is a toss-up. But if I had to bet, I'd go with GL. I do remember that guy. but OG also had some guys of their own lol. But this game should be good to watch but have to give the edge to Oak Grove. |

Just wanted to Congratulate Grand Lake on another great season. What a game. and Congratulate OG as well they had a VERY young team and went through all kinds of obstacles this year it was fun watching them grow throughout the season.

Grand lake is probably tired of seeing OG lol. Really is astonishing the schools have played each other in 3 state championship games in the past 2 years in baseball and football with OG winning all 3 games (2 baseball 1 football).

How will these two schools be in 2A next year? Thats a good question I am sure Grand Lake will be in the mix just don't know who or how many they are bringing back. OG is only losing 2 players so they should be back and a lot better next year than they were. |

How will these two schools be in 2A next year? I believe OG baseball and football was heavy with freshman and sopres this year so I would look for them to be in contention in both sports. Grand lake I’m don’t have a clue in baseball. The move to 2-A in football will probably be tough on them. |
