Is the Div IV bracket a single game bracket  Or are they playing 3 game series like every other bracket |

Is the Div IV bracket a single game bracket Or are they playing 3 game series like every other bracket 1A has really gotten screwed in the BS they created for this year.Regionals & Quarters last for 4 days. If they spread the games out right, the star pitcher could pitch on that 4th day.The plus us you're all in the same boat. Make it to the semi's, you have to throw your star pitcher. And drink Pepto bismol during the finals! |

One game playoffs where the stud pitcher can throw you to the final is a horrible idea. Really unfair to 1A and below. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. I wonder how many teams with 2 or even three pitchers will go down in the early rounds. Why do we play 30 games to have playoffs decided by one? Heck, many of the Districts even play each other more than once to decide that title.

Heck, many of the Districts even play each other more than once to decide that title. Yes, it's a shame !!! 1 elite pitcher will get you all the way to the semi's smh. For example Opelousas Catholic, they don't have real strong pitching but can crush the ball, 1 ace shuts them down 1 game and they're done when if they played the next 2 it's very possible they would win. You only have a couple schools in the Div IV bracket that has a legit D1 pitcher but have next to nothing after that. Unfair to a complete team that has 3-4 decent pitchers that can win you a 3 game series but doesn't have that one stud that can win you that 1 game. How/Why in the world did they decide to just put 1a and below in single elimination |
