You know I have to go with OG. But am ready to see Dequincy's pitcher today. Heard a lot of good things about him.

Most times I pull for OG because their posters on here are classy and humble, and I like that. Plus, I had an old aunt from Kilbourne. BUT, my mama was from DeQuincy, so I'm gonna go with them. Still have kin around DQ.

11 to 10 in the 12th inning OG wins for the 3rd straight year !
But on side not Dequincy i have the outmost respect for. Them boys battled. I will be honest i thought OG was about to lose this one. Great pitching great fielding had me on the edge of my seat.

I don’t have a kid on oak grove or dequincy,I will give both teams credit on one hell of a championship game,the truth is it should been 10-9 dequincy,the home plate umpire made a terrible call,kid was out easily,everyone at game knows that,congrats on a great championship game

Congratulations to Oak Grove but man what a freaking game!!! Our guys had their backs against the wall and fought back like hell and showed some true GRIT!! Sure a couple things didn’t quite go our way but they have nothing to hang their heads about because they truly fought like hell until the very end and a game like that is why we all love the game of baseball!
My heart hurts for our kids but at the end of the day I couldn’t be more proud of their never quit mentality and stellar effort!
This game was an Instant classic!!

Umpire called him safe, he was safe. We had our chances to put OG away up a run and couldn’t close. Their championship game experience showed. I hate we had to lose that one but that game was definitely worth the ridiculous LHSAA ticket price. Was fun to be there and witness both teams leave it all on the field. |
