OCS dominating the LOS is wild. You don’t see that very often from a 1A vs a 5A OCS LB #33 Noah Lovelady is a player. I remember watching him in the dome his sopre year a couple years ago and was very impressed with him. He’s developed nicely Lovelady is one of the best linebackers ever in North La. Can’t quite figure out why is isn’t heavily recruited. Take him off that defensive side and they are still very very good but without him it would be a definite difference.

This final score, really??? I don't care what anyone says, Ouachita has and has had the best talent in Northern Louisiana for years. I'm not mentioning coaching or their work ethic. I'm just acknowledging how crazy this final score is with the talent alone that Ouachita has. ROCK BOTTOM!!! I'm just in awe by this They flat out quit (OCS made them quit, but still). It will never cease to amaze me that there are 5A schools that don’t have SOMEONE that can competently throw a forward pass. Just baffling.

OCS is the best team in our area! Very impressive! Agreed. I said before the season they could beat anyone in the area except ruston. They'd beat WM as well. Neville too. Team is special. 🤣 no on those 2. They have depth. As you mentioned Lewis era ends. How about this theory. Garvin back at O next year with revenge on his mind.

WM can't hide from their God awful poop schedule much longer. Beginning tomorrow. Plus they lost a starting OL for the year yesterday as well. Neville would be a toss up. Stop with the WM poop. They are the lowest ranked in terms of power points of undefeated teams in 5A and has THE LOWEST power factor of ALL teams in ALL of 5A. They avoid competition like they are wearing an N95 mask from China If you aren't familiar with what the power factor is then don't comment. Look it up. It means you avoid competition like I avoid marriage. It ain't happening. Ever.

What a thread! How bout those 1a boys!!!!! Great win! OCS looking like an absolute machine!! With what I saw from Lab last week, OCS would win pretty solidly. Sucks to say. Hope the team is more energized bs Dunham.

That was a massacre. St. Fred’s, you are stuck on the RR track and that train is coming fast. Good luck, but I don’t think it will help. But, SouthPlaq is going to box up a Horseshoe, a rabbit’s foot, a 4-leaf clover, a dream catcher, and a bottle of my Grandma, Betsy’s good luck opossum potion and head over to the UPS Store and ship it to you guys before the game.

This is a low scoring game. Neither team throws the ball efficiently. The first team that is forced into a passing game will lose. You won't see many red zone opportunities. Even on those RZ opportunities, both teams will have to take points when possible and not get greedy. I also predict both teams to rely on special teams to set up scores, as they both have dynamic returners. One more thing to watch for, the Lions like to fake punt and onside kick (I would too in this match up), look for the Eagles to roll the dice also. Prediction (Edited - 9/28 8:34 am) OCS 10 Ouachita 7 I hope you meant midway thru the 1st quarter 😂 Well, I whiffed on prediction. Woke up and saw the score, had to do a double-take. Is OCS that good? Or is Ouachita that bad? If I knew there was a livestream, I wouldve tuned in.

Alright. OCS and West Monroe need to play each other in the next 2 year cycle. I think it will be a down year for OCS next year. They will still be a D-IV contender but wont be able to hang and beat the big boys. You never know with Fitz though and the Sopre QB is getting better every week and looked good last night vs Ouachita. I hope I'm wrong though.

I have a feeling Benji won't renew the contract with OCS, meaning OCS will be looking for games. It is a good game to take, OCS plays in a cupcake district and will win 7 or more games every year. With Sterlington and Mangham already dodging the game you can add Ouachita to that list, I wonder if some other area schools would do the smart thing and take a game that is low risk high reward. West Ouachita, Caldwell, Jena, Union P, Neville, Carroll, Richwood, Wossman, Bastrop, Franklin Parish. Homer makes a lot of sense. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Fitzhugh spends the day on the phone trying to fill this week for 2024 season.

OCS also has a great jr high class coming up as well.

Ouachita doesn’t appear very interested in playing defense. Or even offense after the second fumble. And they’re getting embarrassed *also OCS is very good. WR group is really impressive. It is apparent the staff has quit. I watch them every week. Who here watching didn't see the trick play with the slot off the line? You all did. Everyone except the staff at Ouachita. No, they saw it, and didn't care to call timeout or yell it to the players. Just checked out. You must not have been as close as I was to hear the entire sideline (STAFF) yelling double pass as soon as they OCS was lining up. I almost forgot how quick you are to call for people to be fired because they put their livelihood on the shoulders of 14-18 year olds. Must make you feel great to be an armchair QB who can judge without being judged. Wonder if people got to view your job and how your production was when you were depending on inexperienced youngsters. Bet you wouldn't be so quick to call for folks to be fired. There is no doubt that Ouachita did not play well last night, I have been on both sides of that fence. I guarantee you that not one person on that coaching staff has quit on these kids. If anything they are working tirelessly to find some answers again from 14-18 yr olds that don't see past their noses many times.

great post wanna, those ocs kids have been playing since 2-3 grade on their system. they had more speed for white kids and were taught to follow instructions. well coached. and well recruited. if the split ends, the multiplyer needs to be in effect for privates. ocs, no band, just tape recording with 2 guitars and one horn. no pep squad. school full of boys or athletics. very few girls. same for evangel, jc, calvary, lcs, and most of these school for sports. sorry to hit some nerves, but the truth. something needs to be done to get this mess out of the away.

But, you keep believing what you want and showing your ignorance on the subject.

Was going to sit this one out, but when I smell an , this dog has to hunt. I love this game for all the right reasons. First Coach Lewis didn’t schedule this game, whether he would have or not (good choice or not) is irrelevant but he played this game and played with the team he had. Kudos Coach. Wonder of Fitz wishes he had set up another opponent last year after being convincingly defeated by a better team. Call it hunch, probably not. When it was scheduled I’m sure a different OPHS staff thought they would have the services of one of the elite (maybe the best) running backs in the state, and a very talented QB for their system. Neither played last night. As for OCS I would be willing to bet they have good team speed (kind of need it to be successful in football). Knowing how to improve speed and agility through lifting, stretching, and conditioning is not a headline news (welcome to the 80’s). I definitely don’t see a need to use demographics to describe a teams abilities, but whatever you’re comfortable with? As far as recruiting is concerned it has been documented on this board on numerous occasions by countless non OCS supporters (teams that hate OCS like a bully) that Deuce’s guys do it the right way. You stated in your mean spirited and disrespectful post that their kids have been playing together since 3rd and 4th grade. Fitz must be a bigger genius than I ever gave him credit for, identifying great football talent in the 3rd and 4th grade. That even sounds dumb, know why, because it is Dumb! I wish the moderators had to issue licenses to post on this board (glad they get to suspend them). I don’t know too much about OCS and less about OPHS, but I do know they both play with the hands they’re dealt. I tip my hat to all these guys tying their livelihoods to high school kids. Congrats to Deuce’s guys, Hang in there Coach Lewis. Peace Love and Touchdowns

They are always a quality team that is very athletic and discipline. Tough combination for anyone to play against. Figure they will be moving up in divisions soon. Enrollment will increase as you are successful. Great win for OCS. And good luck to Ouachita and their players and coaches the rest of the way...they have been hit with loss of some of their best players by what I am reading.
