Maybe but Kentwood was ahead in the 3rd qtr Granted 3 fumbles didn’t help OG at all We got lucky against Mangham. Granted didn’t play our best game but beyond the point. Ever since Mangham everyone was doubting OG and fair point sure. Then everyone wanted OG didn’t hear the numbers not fair excuses. Then OG beats Kentwood and wins state. Here comes the excuses and not fair stuff again… just gets old is all. But great season for Hville. I know yall will be back soon better watch out for Mangham though. Kentwood will be back as well. They got some players coming up Is Mangham 2A to They Div 4 non select

What’s not being talked about enough is the special group of kids Oak Grove has. They were very young last year when they came to Haynesville during the regular season. We were able to scratch out a close win. But, we saw enough to know they would likely be the team to beat for the next few years. What we didn’t know,, was they would figure it out that year and go on a tear, blow us out in the playoffs and win in all. Once that happened, this year was almost a foregone conclusion. It was cemented during the regular season and again in the Dome. This is a special group. When they’re on, they’re unstoppable on offense. Talent like this doesn’t come around often in small town football. Although we’ve been on the receiving end 3/4 times, I’ve enjoyed watching them play. I’m not sure if OG will be back on our schedule or in D4 next year. But, wherever they end up, I wish them well. They are a very special group.

Was Jackson a junior or senior this year? Don’t have access to y’all’s official roster-thought he was senior and then heard during the game he was a junior? Love watching that kid play-was nervous as hell every time he touched it in our two games….he is fun to watch-but def one of those you would rather watch on your side and not other side for sure lol! He's a Sr. I wish he was a Jr. And yes, I was hoping we'd try to get him as many touches as possible, but I guess the coaches had other plans. But yeah, Alonzo will be missed, maybe more than any player that we've had in the last decade, but we have an incoming freshman, Ethan Henderson, that's really a splitting image of Alonzo. He carried the ball a couple times in the title game, #24. Your QB has a lot of potential too…I met Alonzo and his brother after the game out and about-both seemed like they have it all together…wish them the best and good luck to the Tors…whatever happens with the realignment I’m sure we will see each other again sooner than later lol

Hold on boss-are you talking about kids that have been at OG since elementary or junior high? Are you really going there? That statement doesn’t even warrant a response but how many examples of this do you think goes on at EVERY public school? That’s hilarious! And yes #10 and Harris both live in West Carroll-every day of the week lol….this isn’t little league baseball man-you think OG would be that careless to just have kids giving a fake address and not living there? Need to get better inside info before speaking on it! 10 and his sister drive from Transylvania every day of the week. But you keep on telling that story if you want to. You got a P.I. on them? If that makes you feel better thinking that…have at it….if it’s really THAT big of a deal…I’m sure that doesn’t happen anywhere else even if it were true…I’ve coached the kid…he has been playing ball with this group-baseball and then football since he was 7-8 years old…he wasn’t “recruited” or drawn from any other football school…

Im very anxious to see what he'll become. He's gonna be great, and he'll have ALOT of great talent surrounding him as well. I like our chances to get at least 1 title over the next 3 years. Best of luck to you guys as well. Wherever the chips may fall with the divisions, we'll see ya again.

He's a good kid with talent and a good head on his shoulders. And just like you stated he has a lot of the same surrounding him.

They are a very special group-my son was a starter as sopre on this team…very proud of them…the group is special-about 7-8 of them-#7, 2, 64, 33, 10, 14, 9, 90…those boys have been playing together since they were 7-8 year olds in little league baseball-they are a tight knit group that has literally grown up together…all of those with exception of #2 will be back next year-some of them have couple years left so still got some ball left to play…and as I’ve said before nothing but UTMOST respect for Haynesville and that program….not gonna lie even after the first game got out of hand in second half I was still nervous coming in to this one-y’all have some impressive athletes and obviously great coaching…good luck to Tors in future I’m sure we will do it again
