Season will now start a week earlier.
D1, D2, & D3 playoffs will be best of 3 all the way through. Semifinals will be best of 3 at higher seed home field. Finals will also be best of 3 in Sulphur.
D4 & D5 will remain the same playoff format as before.

I love the playoff format. I hate the fact the season starts earlier. If anything it needs to be pushed back a few weeks to get away from the weather. As it sits right now, most teams probably don't have a week's worth of total practice due to the ice and rain.

Now they will likely miss a month of the baseball season instead of only a few days. |

Everybody pretends to care about multi sport kids but nobody does. It's all lip service. All the rules have been dropped because no one wants to enforce them so every sport is year round. Coaches make line ups in their heads with half their players there, then 2-3 sport kids spend half their seasons working into PT rotations.

Also whoever propose and those that voted to approve this lack common sense. |

So how does it make sense that in DIV where one stud pitcher can get you all the way to a final you only play one game and not a series in the playoffs. That is off in my opinion. All divisions should have the same structure to the playoffs.
