Drew Maddox has resigned as head football coach at his alma mater Louisiana Christian. He departs to become the new defensive line coach at FCS SE Missouri State. Under his tenure, the Wildcats were 22-16 in four seasons and won their first ever conference title in program history in 2023 and made the NAIA playoffs for the first time, their second postseason appearance since the program was revived in 2000. The other was in the NCAA Division III playoffs in 2012. www.lcwildcats.net/news/2024/2/19/drew-maddox-resigns-as-head-football-coach-to-accept-position-at-fcs-level.aspx

Hope they can sustain the success. I'm wondering what are the odds of David Feaster taking over as head coach

As long as the new coach keeps Feaster and Andrus as the coordinators (or if Feaster gets promoted then as long as he keeps Andrus), he should be in a good spot

I'm confident Feaster stays at least for one more year under McLaughlin (Feaster's son will be a senior for LCU this year) but I could see him staying longer because him and McLaughlin have similar systems.

LCU will replace Drew Maddox with Hall of Famer- Town Talk Article Better yet, here is the article from Cenla Preps since they actually knew what team McLaughlin was currently coaching and gave better information. Town Talk listed McLaughlin as a current assistant at ASH even though he has been Buckeye's head coach for two years. Town Talk sports coverage is virtually non-existent and what is covered is hot garbage. cenlapreps.com/f/buckeyes-mclaughlin-expected-to-become-new-lcu-head-coach
