Despite the early results i would rank the Top 15 as follows:
1. Sterlington 2. DeQuincy 3. Rosepine 4. Kinder 5. French Settlement 6. Lakeside 7. Welsh 8. Mamou 9. Pine 10. Loreauville 11. Springfield 12. Many 13. Vinton 14. Mangham 15. North Caddo
After that's its more difficult being the season is so young.

I agree KHS, its early and a few teams has wins against teams we really don't know about yet, but Kinder is a top 4 team for sure

I've been following high school baseball for 26 years, and there's very few programs in the state that have been consistently good and make it past the 1st round 9 out of 10 times and make deep playoff runs consistently like Kinder. We had pretty much the same exact team for 3 straight years from 2013 to 2015. Last year we still had some players from the 2013 Semi-Finals team and the back to back State Championships but this year we kinda rebuilding. But history says we will still be pretty good.

Kinder will be fine. The Jackets have played a really tough schedule to this point. They might not be as good as the last three years (especially with the loss of the lefty) but you guys are still very much a force in 2A.

Lakeside pitching is down this year, heard there Ace cannot pitch due to shoulder problems that will not go away, I don't see them finishing in top 10 final rankings, but they are still a solid well coached team

is playing real well, and their new player who transferred from Pickering after being a star football player for Pickering this fall is really making a difference. Wonder why everyone isn't losing their minds about this mid-season transfer being eligible? I thought only private schools had the special rules that allowed this.

Not for certain, but I do believe he lives in Rosepine...
