The Yellow Jackets took control of District 4-2A with a 9-0 win over the Tigers. I posted in another thread about not being fooled by a team's record or their power ranking at this point in the season and this game seems to prove my point. However i admit i was not at the game and this score is 2nd hand info so if anyone was at the game let us know how this game played out.

Kinder took it to DQ no doubt, but I don't believe DeQuincy is a fraud as you are suggesting...we have played some common opponents with DQ fairing pretty well in some of those games. I can promise you, no one over here was fooled by rankings or records. We've known Kinder has a good team all year, you guys have lost some close games to some really good teams. Good luck to the Jackets the rest of the way...with the exception of the next time we play ofcourse!  |

I was referring to Kinder's record and Power ranking(#21 in combined 2A) and some comments i was seeing in another thread . The comments i made in the other thread had nothing to do with DeQuincy either. I know DQ is good, notice the word "stun" in the subject up there, but there are some other teams in that Top 10 that definitely are not Top 10 teams. A high power ranking can be manufactured. I know this is baseball and it could be 9-0 the other way next time and to top it off we play Sam Houston the day before we play ya'll again. But i hope DQ doesn't lose, until we play again, so the game gets more attention lol. |

Kinder has had our number for a while now, Coach Courville does a great job over there and has yet another good group of kids. See you guys next time. |

I am not surprised with Kinder beating DQ. I figured the game could go either way I knew Kinder was a heck of a lot better then their record. The score does surprise me a bit though.

I'll admit that it did surprise me quite a bit. I was totally expecting a 1 run game. Us winning didn't surprise me but the score certainly did. |

We bounced back against Rosepine on Friday....hopefully we can make it a closer game against you guys next time! |

Kinder seems to come on at the end of the season every year. Coach Courville has worked great things into this team! He always has his group playing their best as the playoffs approach! In my humble opinion...
