Class 5A: 4 out of 8 top 8 seeds made the Quarterfinals- #9 Sulphur Class 4A: 5 out of 8 Class 3A: 7 out of 8 Class 2A: 7 out of 8-# 9 Loreauville Class 1A: 6 out of 8 Class B: 8 out of 8 Class C: 7 out of 8- #9 Evans
That's 44 out of 56 top 8 seeds making the Quarterfinals for a 78.6 % accuracy rating. Throw in three #9 seeds making it to the round of 8 and i'd say that's pretty good. No ranking system is going to be perfect because everybody can't play everybody during the regular season. Teams get better as the season goes along, teams have injuries, lose focus, and some teams just get hot at the right time. Games are not won on paper and ranking systems are always going to be flawed. Like the saying goes, " That's why they play the games."

Wow....system did it's job. Those are solid numbers. I'm sure you can find a team here or there that should have been up or down a couple of ranks, but the full sample size demonstrates the current power point system is a good system.
