St. John ace pitcher Landon Leblanc hasn't allowed a run in his past 3 starts only giving up 4 hits in 3 of those which included a no hitter

Yes our projected ace pitcher to start the year is not pitching only playing 1st but Landon Leblanc has stepped up and provided a big role in his absence

Anyone know anything about Houma Christians team?? Haven't heard too much about them really I was able to look up their stats on Max preps. 10+HRS as a team. Looks like they have a few good hitters by their avg. I know they have a LSU commit on the team also.

Besides a few errors they seemed pretty solid. Was a pitching dual till the last inning.

St. John has hit only 5 home as a team Nice Nice, but St Johns scores seem to blow Houma Christian's out of the water, strange .

Yes St. John is very good at getting runners on at the top of the lineup and the bottom half driving them in a solid lineup 1-9 with no easy out

Lions knock off St. Freds 10-5. Really tough game next round but we have a chance to make our first Final Four appearance in school history in any sport.
Also hats off to Kentwood for advancing in their first game. Pretty awesome for a young program.

I give credit to Houma Christian they scored all 7 runs with two outs the bats just didn't seem to show up for St. John at the right time they got hits just not the timely ones it was a 4-2 game most of the way with HC pulling away at the end great game a great season for St. John

Wonder if they have a team to compete with Cedar Creek.

St. John had a very young team this year every starter besides 1 is coming back with a good 8th grade class coming should be a bright future ahead for the eagles in Plaquemine

I had Oak Grove as my favorite in 1A but they lost in the Quarterfinals. However, they were beaten by one of my sleepers and both of my sleepers advanced to the State Tournament. Cool.
