Does anyone know the select/non-select playoff format for baseball? There are 16 teams in select and 32 teams in non-select (ridiculous). The handbook says 1st round is one game and the next round is best of 3 series but the non-select has one less round....I have called LHSAA (they never answer) and I've also emailed.

The terminology was changed back to bi-district, and regional in January to fix that problem. Basically the select schools won't have a "bi-district" round, just straight to regional which is 2/3.

OK thanks. I heard back from LHSAA and they chewed me out for asking that question and accused me of not reading emails that were sent to coaches no less than 6 times. I'm not a coach. I won't bother the LHSAA again.

It's posted on the website. it's pretty user friendly. got a table of contents that guide you fairly well to each sport. I use it often.
