Good series this weekend between Rosepine and DeQuincy...both teams know each other pretty well, should be a packed house in DeQuincy with a state tournament birth on the line! Good luck to Coach Carlson and the Tigers, 2001 was the last time DQ made the tournament, losing to CHNI in the Semis. Game times are 6 on Friday and 1 and 430 on Saturday.

Another intriguing series to follow. I see this one going 3 games with DeQuincy having the edge being at home. Rosepine got off to a good start but had a backslide at mid-season ending with a 7-4 loss to these very Tigers. However they rebounded to win 7 of their last 9 games. DeQuincy has been pretty consistent all season, evidenced by their very impressive 26-4 overall record. DeQuincy is coming off a sweep of Bunkie who had wins over Rosepine and Many during District. Hope ya'll have a good series and everyone playing and traveling has a safe weekend.

Rosepine is jelling right now the top 5 are crushing the bal and they are not making any errs . Dont know who will win but DeQuincy better bring A game cause these boys are on a roll. Good Luck to All The Teams making the Quarter Finals

Good thing the boys are young because these 3 game series have to be tough. Play Friday night, gotta spend the night in a hotel in most cases, then play a morning game then immediately after if it goes to a 3rd game. Of course these are teenagers we talking about. They probably love it. i know we did.

Congratulations to coach Smith and Rosepine, taking two from DeQuincy today to advance to Sulphur. Good luck to the Eagles. Great season Tigers, best record in school history at 27-6...congrats to our 5 seniors on a fine season.

DeQuincy is a fine team they just ran into a pumped up Beast. Rosepine boys did a great job of being focused after coming out a lil flat in the first game. Hats off to DeQuincy yall have a lot to be proud of.

Speaking to someone I know claimed that a player played football at one school and baseball at another in the same season, and says this in not the first time this has happened seems strange and against rules, at least in Texas this would not happen seems like parents are talent chasing and has no loyalty. I am not familiar with Louisiana rules so I have no clue. Good luck to everyone the rest of the way
