Central Catholic is the defending State Champion and I'm sensing a 10 run rule win for CC in their Semi Final. However if Ascension Catholic shows up focused and ready it could be a close game but i still think CC wins. As for the other Semi Final i don't know anything about either school but i'm gonna go with Houma Christian based on their upset win over Cedar Creek.

Acension Catholic has a very good pitcher no way CC 10 run rules them.I like CC in this game but I'm thinking like a final of 4-1.

Central Catholic over Ascension Catholic in a close ballgame with a score of 7-6 or thereabout, although I would not be surprised at all if it went extra innings. Houma Christian over Ascension Episcopal by a score of 5-1 or so. That would set up a Central Catholic vs. Houma Christian Final that I believe will be a classic. I have the Houma Christian Warriors dethroning the defending champion Central Catholic Eagles by a score of 6-4. Geaux Warriors!!! Warrior Pride!!!

Not so fast my little Eaglet friend, while I do agree that the Central Catholic team certainly has several fine pitchers on their roster, they are not going to be facing T-ball teams on a field trip to Sulphur. The two aforementioned teams (Ascension Catholic & Houma Christian) have scored 6 or more runs in 20 of 33 (almost 61%) & 22 of 32 (almost 69%) of their games respectively this season. I promise you that quite a few of the opponents in those games didn't think that their pitching would give up as many runs as they did give up either. At least we don't have much longer to wait before the debate begins being settled on the playing fields of McMurry Park in Sulphur. Once again, good luck to all of the participants, both on the fields & in the stands. May the best teams stand tall as true Champions when all of the dust has settled on Saturday night. Everyone be careful while travelling to & from Sulphur & stay safe during your stay.

Whopper,my friend first of all check out cchs schedule and I think you will realize what a ridiculous statement you made in reference to facing T-BALL teams.CCHS plays the toughest non-district schedule of any team in class 1A/DIV IV plus they play in the toughest district in the state. This year 2 teams from district 7-1A are in the final 4 .If you want to use statistics CC over 33 games this year have given up an average of 2.57 runs per game.Just as I said there is no way Acension Catholic or Houma Christian will score 6 runs on cc pitching just ask Acension Catholic who CC beat 3-1 and in that game CC pitched their # 4 pitcher a freshman.I really don't think you know how good CCHS really is.Once again good luck to your team in the semis and hopefully we will meet in the finals.God bless you and your team.

First of all, 4everlsu, my little Eaglet-feathered friend, I wasn't meaning to imply at all, that your Eagle team had played a less than extremely competitive schedule. I simply wanted to remind you, my friend, that there will be three other quality teams in Sulphur competing for the Division IV Championship & I am sure that not a one of them is thinking that Central Catholic should be making room for the trophy just yet. I was merely trying to remind you & any others out there that may be thinking that any of the other three teams in the Div. IV Semifinals were treating it like a T-Ball team going on a little field trip to Sulphur to watch the Big Boys play, then you/y'all are sadly mistaken. I am expecting the Division IV Semifinals & Finals to be three games that will provide everyone in attendance plenty of excitement & entertainment. Everyone stay safe, have fun, & I hope to see you there tomorrow morning. On that note, I need to finish packing before heading out to one our local ballparks to watch my youngest grandson play in a 9-10 year old league game tonight. Later, my friend.

Will the early game be on the radio or Internet? Safe travels and good luck to all.

Congrats to both teams, I normally pull for fellow Catholic schools but I have to root for EA. I have a bunch of friends there and it's almost Catholic! Either way great season for both teams.

This one is gonna be interesting, especially considering the Aces for each team won't be pitching. I haven't seen Brady from AE pitch this year, but his numbers as of late have been off the chart. It's too bad we won't see the top pitchers from each team face off.

Not taking anything away from him, the HC kids hit him, but AE has a really good defense. Nothing gets past them and that OF can track down anything.

I see they have an Hebert kid and a Dooley kid that they use when Brady isn't throwing. Any idea on what kid of stuff they have?

If Brady was there Ace, CC should be able to handle anyone else. Like I said, not taking anything away from the kid, but he won't blow it by you. Maybe 75mph, but hits his spots and keeps you off balance

Well whoever it is AES throws, I'm sure he will be quality and well coached. CC will have to play their best to win. AE didn't make it this far by accident, and for many of their players, this isn't their first time playing for a championship. So I doubt the big stage will be an issue. It's gonna be a fun one. I'm counting the hours.
