Don't you love these guys that spend the entire year whining about the split and how meaningless the games are: the playoffs are watered down, uneven competition, that championship is meaningless, those kids don't deserve that trophy, "your coach doesn't deserve to win",(that one is a direct quote). That's when they were getting rolled in football. Now they are in semifinal and championship games this weekend and all of the sudden these playoffs become the most legitimate competition in the history of sports. Can't have it both ways.

Probably no one hates the split, the reason for the split, or the principals that voted for the split more than me. And I absolutely don't understand the mentality of those on here that favor the split. I believe the split has made an A and B bracket. But when it comes to the kids playing I hold no disrespect to them for their accomplishment even with an asterisk applied to their win. I think I speak for everyone else on this forum with or without the mentality.

So the kids will have to wonder the rest if their life if they actually were a state champion.

It doesn't matter if they are play OCS or Lakeside in the state championship. There is a trophy on the line and they wanna win it. They couldn't care less about the 2 different brackets.

Don't fool yourself, they care and they know. In the future Kinder2015 and Indy2015 will be arguing and wondering who was the true 2A champion. Indy2015 will be calling Kinder2015 a Martien and Kinder2015 will be correcting Indy2015's spelling. Indy2015 will win the argument.

I got way bigger things to worry about than if I could have beat so and so back in the 90's. Thats why people get sick of this bull**** you keep harping on day in and day out. Everyone on the site knows how you feel. Do you think the kids that just graduated with a 4.0 will wonder who had the "best" 4.0 later in life? This is a really smallminded argument in the grand scheme of life. I don't agree completely with the split, I hope you see my point.

I'm fixing to tee of with a group of friends. Guys from TC, CHNI, and STM. We tried to beat each others brains out back in the day, and We still competetoday. At the end of the day only one of us will win. We will settle our bets, have a couple beers, and rag each other. Wednesday we will meet again and do the same. And I guess they have guys out here that only play for fun. I'm guessing you are one of those guys.

Yeah, raising my kids and teaching them to be good Catholics takes priority over my golf game, you right.

I beat my buds out of $100 today. That's $10 for the Catholic Church, plus I have 9 Catholic children and 5 Catholic grandkids. Amen

Regardless of the fact that I'm an . I can promise you that the young men at Central High School that I just watched pull off a huge upset know they are the champions tonight, tomorrow and they will never question it's legitimacy. Nor should they. An I guarantee you they don't give a flip about how you feel about it.
By the way, congratulations to them for well played game. Esp. The starting pitcher.

One thing for sure, Fort Worth Christian in Texas and Oak Forest Academy in Mississippi two top ranked private school teams in their state don't complain and whine about their situation.....They just go win.
In Louisiana, do the private schools whine and attempt to degrade successful public schools? ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶m̶u̶c̶h̶ Constantly.

Kids just play. Just monitor threads on here about successful public school posts and keep tally on who's attacking who....its crystal clear!

Just how it is
