How do you see tonight's game going? After viewing the Semifinals, I have to go with Ascension Episcopal over the defending champion Central Catholic Eagles by a score of 5-3 or thereabouts. What do the rest of y'all think? Good luck to all participants in this game & all of the remaining games to be played.

Hey, "thetruth14" I don't know why you would say a thing like that. If I hated Central Catholic at all I would not have picked them to make it to the Finals again this year (you can easily verify this simply by checking my previous posts on the matter). I just do not believe that they will beat Ascension Episcopal tonight, that's all. By the way, what do you think the final score is likely to be in this game?

I have been picking them to "lose in the finals" to Houma Christian & after sitting in the stands on Saturday & watching the Semifinals play out, in My opinion, & that's all it is, My opinion, I believe that Ascension Episcopal will beat Central Catholic by the relatively close score of 5-3. What do you think the Final Score is likely to be?

I will have to go with CC. As much as I would love to see the underdog win, I see AES been riding 1 pitcher for a while and he's not pitching the championship. As good as their defense is, I find CC will beat up on the pitching. Also not sure if CC pitched their #2 guy yet but if not he's pretty legit. CC defends their title. After watching a good bit of games, next year will be a completely different story.

I wish we could have stayed for the Final & we would have had Houma Christian made it to the Final. We returned home instead, after Wednesday's games, due to our grandson's participation in a 9-10 year old League Tournament that began earlier today & runs through Sunday.

I was able to watch the HC, AES game since I went early just to watch a few games. Both really good teams. I think the HC team is only losing 1 senior so they will be contenders next year. Not sure how many AES is losing, I know of 1 definite. Their CF, good ball player. After watching that game, it was a good 1. HC catcher almost put it over in the 1st inning if it wouldn't be for the wind blowing in. Small kid but looks like he has power. They also commited a error that turned into a run. Could have been a different ball game but fun to watch. HC pitcher and SS are good ball players also. AES had some hitters on that team and a great defense in my eyes.

As I write this the score is AE 5. CC 3 top of the 5th Sounds like the game is playing out about the way that I had expected it to. Wish I could have seen it in person. Thanks for the update.

7 to 3 now. 7th just started. Thanks for the update. Looks like that Ascension Episcopal defense brought its "A" game tonight & it also appears that they have more than Sean Michael Brady when it comes to pitching & it also appears that they are having quite a few quality at bats tonight.
