Former Kinder standout Gavin Sonnier will get his 1st collegiate start on Tuesday when McNeese State takes on Houston. The freshman has a 4.50 ERA in 11 appearances this season but hasn't allowed a run in his last 5.2 innings, spanning 6 appearances. Good luck kid.

I remember the first time Gavin pitched against us...we had no idea who he was due to him being like the 5th best arm on those championship teams Kinder had. 5 innings and no hits later, we knew he was a stud. Good luck to him! Go Cowboys!
