Covington #1 Acadiana #2 West Monroe #3 St Amant will be #4
If all these teams end undefeated as I suspect than the last power ranking will be like this.
Acadiana may slip against sulphur but doubt it. West Monroe could slip against Ouachita but doubt that also. Covington has no other threats. St Amant the same.

Bastrop is significantly beater than that Neville team I saw last week in my opinion.

Covington should definitely win out. They are a very complete team. Strong on both sides of the ball. Can run, pass and catch. Look for a deep run in the playoffs! Should be no lower than #2!

Covington is definitely one to watch. I think they are being overlooked because of location, but this is a good team. The district is down this year but Covington is very good

They opponents they beat in non district have killed their chances for a top 2 seed. Play better trams in non-district. Outside chance you get a better seed if acadiana loses to sulphur or west monroe is upset by ouachita. I doubt either happens, but that is your only chance unless those two aforementioned teams non-district opponents somehow tank. Doubt that happens either.

Logic, you state that Bastrop is significantly better than Neville. How do you support that statement when Bastrop has played a much easier pre-district schedule and has the same record? Bastrop's best win is arguably against a 4-3 Airline. I would say they might be, might be closely matched at best. I may have to add you to the bet I have with my friend from Strop city? Say a soda?

Bastrop playing at home and their offense is lethal. Neville just doesn't have the offense to match in my opinion. Bastrop has a really good team, not great, but they are solid. Seriously, they played some good teams themselves. I give it to them on offense ability to score. Probably will be a very competitive game. I actually think West ouachita may play with Neville for a half. I could see a 14-0 game at half with them this week.. lol.. I know I know.

I see them as a solid #3 seed if all of the above teams win out.

I really don't care where we are positioned, but it would be nice if Landry Walker, West Monroe and Barbe were in the opposite bracket. Just putting that out there to the football gods.

WM says they want them some LW Bucs. They may get their wish. The outcome may not be what they want. If that team can shutout John Ehret, there isn't a spread team in 5-A they can't shut out, period. Acadiana? Uh, different story. Different style offense, but it would still be tough for them rams. LW played Curtis tough as nails with a crap offense.

Saying Bastrop vs Neville will be very competitive is a lot different than saying they are significantly better than Neville. Now, if you think Neville vs WO will be competitive, you are either from Cadeville or you haven't seen Neville play his year. I really think you have under valued the Tigers this year. They have the tools to be very good team. Not sure what's going on with all the players missing all over the place, but if and when they get everyone back they're gonna be a hand full. So, for a soda, you take WO +21?

Both WM and apparently LW have both improved throughout the year. And just saying...WM jumped on JE 30 points in the first quarter and then took foot off the gas. They'd best not do that in playoffs. Should be interesting..

Can't disagree, other than they beat a Holy Cross team that beat Rummel. Dutchtown currently at 12.
