I don't think it would really mess with them much.

yeah all besides varnado. You have 5 real contenders in 1-A. Kentwood, West St John, Haynesville, Oak Grove and Logansport. Those 6 all seem fairly even, big drop off after that. Which is better than the last couple of years where you had 3-4 real contenders. Varnado has no business being up there but the Power rankings can be weird sometimes

Besides the ones you mentioned , maybe 1-2 more will have winning record.

That's a pretty big exaggeration but I get your point. The top 14 look to all have winning records and Delhi at 15 is a pretty good team. If they played some of these south la schedules they would be around a 7-3 , 8-2 team.

They should win out and they are a nightmare match up in playoffs.

Varnado is not too good, they beat St. Helena because the coach sat most of his starters for skipping practice that week to teach them no one is bigger than the team

Stop it lol, north Louisiana has 3 legit 1a schools the same as south Louisiana (Logansport, Haynesville, Oak Grove)-(Kentwood, West St. John, Southern Lab) and a few average & above average for both.

Wow that went completely over your head. I wasn't saying there weren't good teams in south la. As a matter of fact there is probably more. I was referring to the fact that there is just a ton more teams in south Louisiana . With that number to pick from a lot of not very good teams from south la have good records. In north la you simply don't have enough choices to pick from. Teams like covenant Christian, Houma Christian, Ascension christian no offense to them but they couldn't find 5 teams close enough to them they could beat if they were up here Even centerville is 5-3. You simply don't have the scheduling choices up here. Somebody else made this point in another thread. You always have these teams in south la that start off 5-0 or 6-0. And they often end up being bad football teams. It's just easy in the south to find easy wins cause if the amount of options. You give Delhi half the schedules in 1-a and they have 3-4 more wins. It's a pure numbers thing. The better programs of course play great schedule. Y'all always play one of if not the toughest. But it's hard to pick contenders from pretenders when looking at records down there sometimes
