What’s the travel rule throughout the playoffs? I forget every year.

What’s the travel rule throughout the playoffs? I forget every year. excluding the semis, whoever has traveled last will host. If they have both traveled the same week, higher seed hosts if I am remembering correctly. Higher seed hosts the semi-final game regardless of whoever traveled last.

Higher seed hosts the semi-final game regardless of who ever traveled last. 1st round - higher seed hosts 2nd round - if both teams hosted or traveled, higher seed hosts, if one traveled and one hosted round 1, the traveling team hosts Quarterfinals - higher seed hosts if travel is equal, otherwise team that has traveled more hosts... Don't know how it works if one team traveled round 2 and the other in round 1. Semifinals - higher seed hosts DISTANCE TRAVELED NO LONGER MATTERS

That is correct. Distance traveled no longer means anything.

That is correct. Distance traveled no longer means anything. And it shouldn't. It is possible that higher seeds never have to leave the confines of their own stadium. Reward success. What is interesting is that Landry-Walker in 5-A is sitting right there around the spot where they will have to travel the first week against an opponent they can likely beat handily, but then get a home game against either a 1,2, or 3 seed. That, is striking it rich for LW. They are going to end somewhere along the lines of 19-16 more than likely. Then get a team from the likes of West Monroe, Acadiana, East Ascension, and Covington if it ends as predicted. It all could change, but not by a large margin from here on out unless all hell breaks loose the next two weeks.

the winner of LW and us in week 10 will definitely host somewhere between 11-14... sportsline has us at 15 playing an 0-8 Bonnabel team this week and LW at 19 plays 3-5 West Jeff

Long drives whether they create points or not. Keep it close and get them in the end.

We have to be creative on offense and use everyone available. Then we might have a chance a la 2015. I know you watch LW, so question... How does Corione Harris compare to what Keytaon did last year? 50%, 60%? Last year at Behrman they were basically playing basketball on grass... It was over quick and come to find out, that's what they did to everybody lol

Reward a team for a great season. Where else in America can you take an undefeated team who is ranked #1 and tell them you have to travel for a QF game against the #8 seed. By the way they are located 5 hours away and play in a hostile environment. Good Luck and Congrats.

If you are truly deserving of that #1 seed, you can win anywhere. I loved the traveling in the playoffs. As a player traveling to new schools and stadiums for playoff games is one of my fondest memories.

I agree, you should be able to win, but it makes it difficult for the fans who have supported the team all season to travel if its a north to south Louisiana or vice versa. This seems to be the most fair way though.

A #1 seed should not have to travel to play a #17 in the 2nd round or possibly a #25 in the Quarterfinals.

But they're slowly chipping away at them
