Going off the fact Notre Dame destroyed Kaplan, Teurlings, and CHNI and Welsh beat Kaplan,Jennings, and Kinder and hammered Avoyelles I would say ND is just that good

Is Notre Dame that good or does Welsh need to worry? ND had 2 easy weeks to heal and plan for Welsh, Welsh had 6 days after playing Kinder to ready for ND. If you reverse that IMO ND still wins but I believe it's more of a respectable battle. Welsh should do fine in the pink brackets.

They are both quality teams, one had a funeral to attend when they played kinder , so they supposedly didn't play good against kinder, then some Welsh kids were sick, so they didn't play good against ND, so we lost to each with no pre existing excuses. Power rankings and strength factor is what I go by.

Some of the first quarter coaching decisions were pretty interesting for the Hounds.

If you are around Welsh program all they ever talk about is beating Kinder. They did that and as normal they hit a low after that game.

I actually have a senior at Kinder High School. Very good friends with coaching staff. Member of Kinder's booster club. Lots of volunteer work for school. Any other questions I can help you with.

I am not a fan I am a parent that had one kid graduate from Kinder and another kid getting ready to graduate from Kinder High School. A fan is someone that sits on the side and cheers. I am a involved parent of not just Kinder Football, but all of Kinder High School and all activities. So how long means nothing, being involved is all that counts.

How long you’ve been a fan means a lot in the context of this discussion. Anyone who has been a long time Kinder fan, realizes how quick things can go from feast to famine. Johnny come latelies like you tend to be a little more brash.

Johnny come latelies like you tend to be a little more brash. Out of all the kinder posters you are the least knowledgeable, most irritating, most annoying, and least relevant. Maybe you better at Kinder ancient history. You don't even know where the current kids live. Getting into a pissing contest with Btown proves my point.

A combination of ND being that good, Welsh having to play two very physical teams within a week and then just not playing up to their standards appears to have all played a role in the outcome.

I got to to side with 1981 on this one kinder had nothing to do with the Welsh vs ND game. Jennings is just as physical as Kinder and that didn't effect them at all the following week.

It's gets rather annoying when we can not have a single football discussion without kinder being brought up. I love hearing about all teams in the state. I'm surprised kinder wasnt brought up as being the reason Ouachita nearly beat West Monroe. I'm all for hearing about kinder as they are our district mates and an area team but keep it to the correct place.

1. Defer the toss 2. Defend the end zone kicking into the wind 3. Throwing the ball 3rd and short 4. Not going for a 4th and 1 down 14-0 when defense got gashed twice...albeit minus field position 5. Not playing press coverage on ND's WR. He's too big to play soft coverage.

Both teams will be dangerous in post season. Us welsh came out flat. The wow factor being down 20-0 quickly set in early. Notre Dame in my option would win 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a would be close with some powerhouse public teams that are in there. 5a top 16 side of bracket in my opinion when they playing well and on their game. They would win small private side, will win side they are in and would play de la Salle in the other. Would compete in the top private division but I believe just fall short but would make final 6-8. They are a tough well coached team. Welsh is a really good public team they have size, speed, athletes and very well coached. They have what all smaller public schools have numbers problem. 59 kids with 1/2 being underclass kids. The rotation becomes a issue at times with depth. We do well but in big games sometimes you get caught. We played poorly in first half came out better to win some pride back in 2nd. On our best night I feel we could give a better game honestly. I honestly believe a 42-21 or around 35-14 type game I truly believe because of rotation keeping kids fresh and having the defense , offense and special teams solid like they do at Notre dame that we are around 20-21 point underdogs. I will take that knowing who Notre dame is as a team now having played them. I have watched every game film of Notre dame this year at least twice each game. They played perfect football just about this past Thursday. To me their best game was against us then , Teurlings followed by Catholic based on shutting three teams down that normally execute very very well on offense and play solid defense. Welsh is a very very good public team but we are that a very good public team. I feel we can compete for state just have to execute, cloud turnovers and play greyhound football not let opponent dictate the game. No excuses not the interceptions, couple kids sick, or we as superstitious wore the wrong underwear other night we got beat plan and simple. Good luck to pio's I Appreciate the time I got to spend with Indy , Fruge and the new football friends that I met. Hopefully between all teams in our district we can bring home to titles this year that would be awesome. Especially if we can get three teams in there at once.
