Karr 1. Vs Easton 4 Benton 3 Vs Neville 7
I belive the other three are slam dunks. It will be interesting to see who comes out of the Lakeshore,Neville, and 35 side. Thoughts??

Rayne is the game that could give Benton the most trouble....if they make it passed Leesville. Benton matches up better with Leesville so I'm pulling for the Wampus Cats!!

The way Rayne played a way tougher STM team it'll be hard to beat the wolves if they continue like that. Nothing against Leesville they're an outstanding program but we were in the tougher district and hold the week 5 win. But what do I know

Did they lose many players off of last years squad? They were a scrappy group last year.

Nah... you're just in a thread about 4A semi predictions asking about what other teams fans think about what was being said on a message board?? You seem to have gotten upset with me because I stated that I would rather see Benton play Leesville than Rayne?? That is a compliment to Rayne. Plus it would give Benton another home game. You know, so I wouldn't miss the game since I don't have a dog in the fight and could watch a local game instead. Then you let me know that they have many returning starters from last year. That should make Benton feel real good about the matchup since Benton had their way with Rayne last year and have many returning starters that have improved their game as well. This is all my opinion and my projection...

I already knew Benton didn't lose hardly anything last year and I already knew they have a stellar program. Last year was last year and we got beat and our star running back got injured early. No excuses last year was last year and we lost a game against a team that has been in 4A and has played the champions of the class a lot more than we did. Be honest this Rayne team surprised a bunch of people this year. Look at how tight we played STM. Maybe I shouldn't said anything in this post but we'll see what happens the next few weeks. And No I wasn't butthurt by the loss last year either. From now on I'll leave my opinion to myself. Not being ugly to you either.

I know they are a good team. Hope the best for y'all until they potentially meet up with Benton again. I said last year that if Benton was going to make some noise in the playoffs it would be this year. So far this season has gone as expected. Good luck the next few weeks. Hopefully both teams get the wins needed to meet up again. I need to get some more Pepperjack stuffed boudin balls from Billy's...

I think Karr and Easton are safe picks on the top half of the bracket but, it's doubtful Lakeshore and Benton make it thru to the semi-finals.

Benton returned a lot of talent this year and more than likely a lot of these guys will be back next year. Neville and Mc35 are a lil down this year so that opens the door for Benton for sure. I assume you know the possibility that Benton could play Cecilia in the second round.

SP, I think most of us don’t know what to think of Lakeshore. It’s hard to say just how good they are compared to the other teams in 4A. They must be good or they wouldn’t be undefeated. Lakeshore won’t have a game until the third round where they will probably face either Neville or McD 35. I would say both of those teams would be a good battle for anyone not named Karr. Benton’s biggest test will be Rayne until it hits the semi-finals. Benton like Lakeshore is untested. It would help if they played Evangel, Byrd, Parkway or even Airline, then we could tell how they stack up. I think that side of the bracket is wide open!

Not that it makes that big of a difference but Benton beat Airline on both sides of the ball at Byrd in the spring. Also they made Parkway look terrible in the Jamboree when both of there superstars where healthy. Defense held Woodlawn two headed beasts to 0 when they where putting up just over 40 puts a game. If you're gonna beat Benton you'd better be able to score because I believe they will score on anyone.

Benton don't have any Superstar athletes. What they do have is 11 on both sides of the ball that truly understand the game and willing to do what it takes to win. I'm not saying they will win but if you come slipping you gonna get embarrassed

Yeah, I guess I’m like everyone else connecting the dots with common teams. In that district, Northwood who lost to Benton in a close game was beaten by a Richwood team that Bastrop killed. Then they had that game with ND. Not sure what happened there. Probably crazy to compare teams like that but it’s hard to see the relative strengths of teams. I have no doubt they are good. I would love to see Neville make a house call to Benton in the semi-finals. Here’s fingers crossed!

I seen in that post Northwood vs St Martinville seems like some guy got bent out of shape with your comments and another guy who predicted st Martinville to upset Northwood. Gees that's how I use to sound, lol. I don't see Neville going real deep this year. Then they are on that New Orleans side of the brackets with Kart and Easton. Guess we all like to see certain teams make it far. I am improving if someone doesn't see Rayne go far ah...we did survive a tougher district.

Iceman, Neville is on the opposite side of the bracket than Karr and Easton. They would have 35 at Neville 2nd round. Unlike some of the past several years, Neville will have to play good ball, even in the early rounds to make it back to the dome. I do think if they get some good bounces they could make it to the dome.

No offense, but I’m not sure what bracket you are looking at. Neville is on the opposite side of the bracket from Karr and Easton. They would only meet in the dome! They would play 35in the second round and probably Lakeshore in the quarterfinals.
