This game will have a lot of points. Donaldsonville is very good for a 16 seed. Tall and athletic with plenty of size and speed. Dville has 3 losses and all were to top 4 seeded teams in the playoffs... St. James, St. Charles and De La Salle. With that being said Sterlington is a very good team. With the aggressive style of defense DVille plays, I can see Sterlington with a lot of big plays, but with the size Dville has on the perimeter I also see them racking up some points. I say Sterlington 41-33 in this one.

Another trap game. I think this is one of the top 5 matchups next week. I think Sterlington pulls out a squeaker

Another trap game. I think this is one of the top 5 matchups next week. I think Sterlington pulls out a squeaker I'm with you on this. I saw Donaldsonville live twice this year. I think they're a top 6 public school in 3A. That 16 seed is very misleading. I still go Sterlington and any advantages I give them is coaching, but I would not be surprised if Dville pulls off the upset. Dville has size and speed. 3 wr 6'2 or taller, super athletic qb 6'3 d-1 commit as a wr and very physical rb and oline . I still go Sterlington 41-33

We played Dville in 2010 and they had speed everywhere we couldn't match their speed the game was within reach at the end for us but still lost on a last minute interception. I know that's been 7 years ago but if Dville still has the same philosophy and skills sets Sterlington will dominate the line of scrimmage. They play physical and mixed with a little bit of speed. I see this one being close as well. Shoot ouit

The only thing I'd say now is they're a little too aggressive and give up some big plays>

Looks as though the "little" guys from Sterlington will be playing another "monster" team that is VERY athletic!! Donaldsonville is the "bigger", "faster" players & have played a great schedule against some of the best in the state in 3A! They are coached extremely well & play very hard! Going to be another test for the Panthers, as usual. Panthers by 7 points because they have played these types of teams all year & been victorious! In my humble opinion...

These are the same cliches used for most South Louisiana teams, the standouts for Donaldsonville are Tahj Brown and Davon Wright. Sterlington likes to chop down big NGs/DTs so it’ll be interesting to see how Wright adjusts. Brown will likely line up in the middle, very big and fluid. There is a sense this is a different Donaldsonville team. Typically they aren’t as competitive as they’ve been this year. It will be interesting because the Sterlington offense isn’t something really seen in South LA

thewood34, I totally agree, but y'all have your hands full with a very talented Loranger team! Remember, one game at a time! Looks as though y'all don't think much of Loranger if you make statements like that! In my humble opinion...

Yeah when this season started I was ready ru see Sterlington get beat up by bigger 3-a teams since they had been beating up on smaller 2-a and 1-a teams but it never happened. They have made the transition flawlessly. They very well might win the whole thing

To me Sterlington has not played a complete game this year in all 3 phases of the game. The closest they have gotten is the Union Parish game which was a rivalry game. If they can finally play a complete game they will have a chance to return to the Dome. If not, they may be sitting at home wondering what happened! But yes, it has been a pleasant surprise to see those young men compete in a higher classification & be successful!! In my humble opinion...

Winner wins it all

Winner wins it all Not quite sure on that point. I believe that both are very talented teams BUT if Richwood gets the revenge on Sterlington that they want, then they have to play the semi's against possibly Kaplan or St James (two more very talented teams) THEN in the Dome versus possibly West Feliciana or Iowa. Point being, I wouldn't make claims on "winning it all" just yet. There's a lot of football to be played

I agree that both schools & communities would like to see it, but both schools better be concentrating on the task at hand which is Loranger & Donaldsonville or that game will never materialize!!! Never look past a playoff opponent & look ahead or it will cost you dearly!!! In my humble opinion...

Richwood and sterlington are the two best teams in 3A. I don't want hear about to sorry St. James or Kaplan. St. James will lose this week anyway.

Wowwwwww.... I am sure people in West Feliciana, Iowa, Kaplan, St. James, & the other 10 schools left in 3A would possibly disagree with you on this subject. Be careful not to get the cart before the horse! In my humble opinion...

Wood I am definitely pulling for you guys in this game because you are in our district and really hope ya'll win this week but St James out of the strongest 3A District in the state and to discount them would be one serious mistake. Good luck to you guys this week w/Loranger PS.. and if I was picking the strongest 3A in the entire state it would probably be DaLasalle
