Justin Rogers is a highly recruited QB with size and a rocket arm but got injured early & done for the year.
So who you got. I’d like to see best “High School” QB not best college recruits.
Who’s a baller & leader for his team & could carry his team deep into the playoffs?

I don’t know if he’s the best QB in the state but Berwick’s Mitchell Sanford had a great season. Led the state in EVERY meaningful passing stat.

I think you have to mention Slade Bolden from West Monroe, maybe more of an athlete than QB... but he is WM's QB. He is a leader and he is what makes the offense go

I have to nominate the hometown kid. Josh Alfaro from Covington is a 2 1/2 year starter who set the career passing yardage record earlier this year. My numbers may be off a bit, but through the 1st round game, he has approximately 2082 yards with 24 TD's and 4 Int. He's a great kid who does the right things both on and off the field. He's currently committed to Houston Baptist Univ. He's a tremendous leader who can throw it a mile or run it very effectively. He has great size at 6-3 and 215 so he's big enough to run over people and quick and elusive enough to make them miss. Maybe not a big time college recruit but he's a big time high school player which is what the original poster was looking for. Can't wait till Friday!

Sounds like a winner to me. Neville will present a challenge so we will see if he can get Covington past that hurdle.

Dalton Shaw of Logansport should be in this discussion over 5,100 yds 67 TD's with only 2 interceptions in the last 2 years combined.

Not that he can't be the best QB but the WR usually gets more credit when he's a better talent Agreed. But after watching Mitchell play, I really don’t see a flaw in his game. Maybe his height. But arm strength ✅ decision making✅ Quick release✅ Ability to run when nobody is open✅ Football IQ✅ He can do all of those things effortlessly.
