Gotta get by the SJH-Kaplan winner first. Either of them are capable of knocking off Sterlington. And what about Richwood?

West Feliciana is my pick to win 3A. 3A and 2A are pretty wide open every year. There isn’t a year in and year out favorite in those 2 divisions. While I respect Sterlington, West Feliciana looks better on tape. So much speed and athletic ability.

The only challenge Sterlington had this year was richwood and they almost lost. And richwood I don't think is that great. Both other teams have played hard schedules and are used playing from behind and fighting the whole game. I think that will be a big difference next week

Stvjames just has to make it to the dome.

If we can get past Kaplan - and that's a BIG if - I think the Wildcats will upset Sterlington. Kaplan's style of play is going to be a major challenge. Gotta make the most of our offensive opportunities. Our DBs usually get a couple INTs a game but since Kaplan doesn't throw the ball, we can't depend on that. I assume Valdez will crowd the box and try to stop the run, but that leaves them susceptible to a big play. A lot of SJH fans are expecting another blowout and that's just not gonna happen. It'll be a one-score, low-scoring game.

Sterlington, Kaplan, St. James, and West Feliciana are all tough. Pretty clear that those are the Top 4 teams in the state in 3A.

We were the underdog all last year!! I know the other teams are great !! We just have to play exceptional football the next two weeks and our boys when on fire can pull it out !!! Good luck everyone playing!! I think Kaplan will beat st James tonight just my though both are tough opponents though..,watch for the score tonight against RICHWOOD !!

I wouldn't consider it an upset if Kaplan wins. They are excellent at milking the clock and playing keep-away. If St. James can't stop their running game it'll be tough-going for the Wildcats. St. James will throw it up for grabs once in a while and count on one of their athletes to make a play. Can't let SJH build a lead because once their confidence starts to grow things start to snowball very quickly. Don't overlook the SJH RB Sterling, either. He is quick, shifty, and strong and will break loose if you're not careful. All that said, if Kaplan can limit the big plays I think they stand a good chance of winning. I'm still sticking with 20-14 SJH though.

It all depends on how effective the Kaplan running game is against the St. James defense, plain and simple. The past two weeks the teams have had to abandon their run game early because the Wildcats built big leads. I don't expect that to happen to Kaplan due to their style of play.

The key for sjh will be getting Kaplan off the field on 3rd downs and creating some 3rd and long situations.. also making their drives count

Now it's between WF/Jennings, Kaplan, and the underdog Richwood
