Good luck to him, but that doesn't look very promising to me. 5A school goes and gets the football coach from one of the perennial worst teams in 2A? Not sure what Natchitoches Central is thinking there

Having actually watched Lakeview against Bunkie I can say this isn’t the right hire if NC is looking to fix their team and start winning. But, more power to him and I hope he surrounds himself with quality assistants.

If I’m not mistaken he came from St James a year or two ago. Haven’t heard a lot about him but I think he deserves a chance. You can’t judge him what he did at Lakeview and he maybe the answer for Natchitoches central.

He is a former assistant at St. James where they had major success including a trip to the Superdome. Could be quietly a good hire

Here's the thing. If he had gone straight from St. James to NC not many people would question it. It's the fact that he was at Lakeview is the reason

That's not much of an article on their hire. " He comes from Lakeview High where he coached Football".

But, they looked awful running that Wing-T. Not that the offense itself is faulty, but they looked sloppy.

He is a former assistant at St. James where they had major success including a trip to the Superdome. Could be quietly a good hire He was the special teams coordinator of a St James team that didn't kick field goals, rarely punted, and usually just stuck an elite athlete to return kicks. It's not like he was out there out scheming folks for St James.

I don't understand the hire they just fired a coach who went 3-7, then you hire a coach who is 3-18. It's tricky because I remember when Lent Bursey was hired at Rayville after going 1-9 he was blasted. Nobody is questioning that hire now. Maybe they know something we don't.
