Logansport will be very good with them returning a lot from last year. We were hoping for a great year but the new coach seems uninterested Really? I thought he was suppose to be a good coach?

Houma will be strong with the gavin dugas kid (LSU signee) and several other post HS players on roster. He's a hell of a ball player. But 1 kid won't cut it. Lol. I watched them play last week but wasn't sure who was starters or not since it was a scrimmage. Are they pretty deep? What about Ascension Catholic or St Mary?

We were hoping for a great year but the new coach seems uninterested Really? I thought he was suppose to be a good coach? [ He came highly recommended but he hasn’t called for a sac bunt yet. Defense routinely makes 5+ errors a game and he has yet to go to the mound mid inning to calm the pitcher down. I have been supremely disappointed with his coaching tactics thus far. They look a good bit worse than last year and this was supposed to be “the year”

What about Ascension Catholic or St Mary? Ascension Catholic always has a pretty good team but don’t know much about either. By the look of both of their records they look to be struggling. Ascension Catholic plays a very tough schedule. It prepares them for later in the season when it counts. Our coach could easily make a schedule for us to go 25-3 but it wouldn't make our team better. So yes, we may be struggling a bit but the fight is not nearly over.

Logansport still averaging 4 errors a game and the coach is still playing musical chairs with his infield. It’s hard to watch! How is Oberlin this year? Grand Lake?

St. Marys, LaSalle, Block, University Academy are all fairly good. Block has a 3B named Lippman who is a junior but he should be a D1 guy. It all depends on who can get hot down the stretch.

1A/Div 4 going to a Best of 3 will be a big change. Should be interesting. Really? I had thought that they decided against it. I've heard both sides of why 1A should go to best of 3 and how it's not fair for the other classes but not them. I personally am dead set against it and I don't debate it because it's pointless to try and change my mind. And I don't have a dog in this fight. Just don't like it. Good luck with that! It’s so the LHSAA can squeeze more money out of its members so they can hire more s, and the kids really don’t need to attend class, right? It takes hard work to be dead last in education!

We beat some pretty good teams on the run.

We beat some pretty good teams on the run. And more than likely will up it to 16 today. That is a great run. The wins over Central Catholic and Covenant Christian were nice. It's going to be tough ending the season against Berwick though. They're pretty strong. A win over them would definitely be a big boost going into the playoffs.

The top 8 teams in Div. 4 is very tough!!! Throw in Catholic PC and St. Martin who embarrassed the Houma Christian team and you have a very tough bracket. This will make for some great playoff games!! Whoever is on St. John side will have their hands full. They are killing it. Anxious to see what 4 ends up in Sulphur. I think it will be...
St. John Ouachita Christian Houma Christian Ascension Catholic

I completely agree with you that the four teams most likely to represent Division IV in Sulphur this year are St. John, Ouachita Christian, Houma Christian, & Ascension Catholic. These four teams appear to be peaking at the right time-just in time for another playoff run. Three of the four teams made it to Sulphur last year with Houma Christian falling to eventual Division IV Champion Ascension Episcopal in the Semi-Finals, Ascension Catholic falling to eventual Division IV Runner-Up Central Catholic in the other Semi-Final, & Ouachita Christian falling in the Division III Championship Game to Riverside Academy. Perhaps St. John would have made their way to Sulphur as well, if they weren't matched up with Houma Christian in the First Round of the Playoffs last year.
