Playing the Sulphur tournament, won the first game 1-0 and the second game 7-0.

Anyone out there have any information on Doyle. Trying to see what is up, they got hit with the L bug. They lost their top 2 pitchers. One to illness and the other to an injury. Plus since beating Riverside they've lost to the defending Division II Champs(Parkview Bap), a Division III Semifinalist(St.Thomas Aq), and the Class 3A Runner-up(Brusly). They lost to Albany who is a good team and has an outstanding pitcher in Brittney Turner who came on in relief and shut them down when they were starting to get back in the game. They had a 7-2 lead against French Settlement but couldn't hold on to it. Their coach says they could get one of their pitchers back next week. They are still #2 in the Power Rankings so we'll keep an eye on them. |

I knew the other games were tough, but French Settlement should have gotten them back on the W trail. |

Another shutout for the Lady Jackets. 13-0 over Kaplan. Four different girls hit bombs. 3 by 3 seniors Sarah, Sarah and Gracie, the fourth by Chloe Oliver. Finish the Sulphur tour 3-0.

Lady Pios go 3-0 in Lutcher tournament. Big game Tuesday against the Jackets on the road. Baseball also plays the Jackets Tuesday on the road.

Hopefully the Lady Js don't overlook them. The baseball match up is a bit of a mystery to me. Its hard to get a read on teams because in Tournaments baseball teams have to use pitchers they wouldn't normally use. |

Well the string of shutouts ended tonight. Kinder still walked away with 14-2 victory. Good game for the freshman pitcher. She has a bright future.

Kinder came out with a strong bat and handled it on defense. Top of the 5th it was 12-2 Pitchig changes on both sides and we quit hitting but time had ran out🙏🏻🙏🏻 Totally did not want to have to eat another lead!! |

Ville Platte tomorrow, Lake Arthur Tuesday (Senior Night), Next Thursday Notre Dame and the following Tuesday Iowa. The girls are not looking past any games, but they have cirlces around two of those games with a chance to finish 24-3 |

You never hear the girls talk about or look ahead, but when certain games up you can see that goals have been set for the season and some goals have come up during the season. When complete they move on to the next task at hand. They are a very focused team. Go Lady Jackets, keep pushing forward.

Pios beat OC last saturday 6-4 then beat Ville Platte in a doubleheader Monday and beat sacred Heart last nite 3-2
Lady Pios lost to Barbe last Friday beat Ville Platte Monday and play Lake Arthur today
