Can someone please explain how in Div. 4. Lafayette Christian is ranked 2, with a 3-0 record and the teams they beat have a combined record of 6-21, but you have HC sitting at #3 which their only loss came from the #1 team in 4A, St. John (8-1)at #4, and Ascension Christian (8-1) at #5??
I’m just curious on how it all works.

You need to be patient with the power ranking. If your team continues to play quality teams and win the power ranking will work itself out.

I’m just curious on how it all works. Each win is worth 20 points. You get 2 points per classification up that your opponent is relative to your class. You get 1 point for each of your opponent's wins. Add these 3 up and divide by the number of games your team has played. |

You need to be patient with the power ranking. If your team continues to play quality teams and win the power ranking will work itself out. Yes, if you're like Many, you can play a lot less caliber teams that might win 20 games in their class and be sitting pretty. |

Yes, if you're like Many, you can play a lot less caliber teams that might win 20 games in their class and be sitting pretty. Well Many did just play Sulphur who is undefeated and probably the best team in 5A. They got crushed but thats not lesser competition. The Power Ratings aren't perfect and everybody whines about them but they can't come up with something better. At least we not using coin flips like Texas. |

Many was supposed to play Benton and parkway in Benton tourney but was rained out. They will play Benton during district and it looks like they will also play Evangel. They have another opening in during district play if Calvary is interested.

We are a little down this year and injuried but will try to give you guys a game. We haven’t played Many in baseball since you guys upset us in the second round in 09. Have a safe trip! |

Yes I'm going to try and make it down. DQ always has a great baseball team, Im pretty sure you will see our best. We have a pretty good squad this year.
