With #26 Franklin Parish's 14-7 win over #7 Cecilia, 4A has had #21 South Terrebonne, #27 Buckeye, #23 Rayne, #18 Warren Easton, and #31 Westgate pull off 1st round upsets. After #3 DeRidder, #11 Northwood- Shreveport is the highest remaining seed in the bottom half of the 4A Bracket after just 1 round.

Bet #23 Rayne never thought they would be home for the Quarterfinals. But they will be now after sweeping #26 Franklin Parish. Westgate beat #18 Warren Easton 8-7 in Game 3. Also #27 Buckeye swept #11 Northwood Shreveport.

It happened. #31 Westgate defeats Rayne 5-4 to sweep their series and advance to Sulphur. Funny, some people posted that Westgate wouldn't win another game after their 1st round upset of #2 Tioga. On a side note: #27 Buckeye defeated #3 DeRidder 6-2 to force game 3.
