I agree, but brackets need to be 16 teams only.

I agree, but brackets need to be 16 teams only. Agree!! Had some real good teams beat by one good pitcher! A season decided by one game.

A season decided by one game. #31 Westgate , #23 Rayne, #27 Buckeye in 4A and #19 St. Amant, #23 Dutchtown in 5A all advanced to the Quarterfinals. 16 teams huh ? Nah i don't think so. Still a bad idea.

I agree, but brackets need to be 16 teams only. let's have the first game of each series at the lower seeded team in the middle of the week... either Tuesday or Wednesday. You then have to get one or two games in on the weekend instead of two or three, and travel would be equal. and yeah i sound biased, but all district champions should continue to be in... some hate that because we took a spot from #32, but at least we actually won something

In any sport!

In any sport! you can do that in a best of three series... the higher seed would still get two home games and more gate money bc it's easier to travel on a weekend. the lower seed would get a payday to cover their travel expenses and if the series ends in two games, it's fair with both teams having the opportunity to host one and double the amount of places get to experience postseason baseball

It's about a team has earned the right to host the game because of the body of the season. The lower seeded team has earned the chance to keep playing.

So let's let the worst seed get the 1st game at home, then give that team time to rest their ace and have him again when the better seed has to sweep at home if they were to drop the 1st one. Yea, that's fair to the better seed. lol

Might work if the two teams are in close proximity, but not so much if it’s Parkway vs Chalmette.

Even more so in football and basketball.

And if a pitcher gets substantially used in game 1, he can't come back for the weekend anyway. Y'all should know this stuff

North LA and NOLA really shouldn't meet until the neutral site showcase games late in the playoffs. The less travel distance, the better attendance is, and the less expenses are

The more we complicate things the more we need to add to the already bloated LHSAA payroll. The more $ we add the more taxes we need to collect from the members, on and on....! And the simple fact is you can’t tax your way out of stupidity.
