After my last post i was noticing that we getting off topic on the Div 3 Thread so i created this one for Class 2A. We are in the Regional round now. #1 Kinder advanced by sweeping French Settlement. #2 Many advanced by sweeping Delhi Charter. #4 DeQuincy swept #13 Pine. #10 Lakeside swept #7 Doyle. The rest are still in play at the time of this post. #9 Vidalia currently leads #8 Vinton 12-3 in a winner-take-all Game 3. In Top of 6th #5 Loreauville leads #12 Lake Arthur 4-1 in Game 2. #3 Welsh just completed a sweep of #14 Rosepine, winning Game 2 of their series 11-0. #11 Springfield won Game 1 against #6 Winnfield. In Game 2, Winnfield leads 4-1 in Bot of 2nd.

Loreauville wins Regional series over Lake Arthur. Springfield leads #6 Winnfield 7-4 in Mid 4th of Game 3.

Congratulations to Coach Carlson and the Tigers...back to back Quarterfinal apparences...this year seems pretty special after losing so much from last years team along with the injuries to our top two pitchers at the beginning of this season. Good luck boys, safe travels to L-Ville next weekend!

Anyone have a scouting report on Dequincy?
Lake Arthur came to our complex but was very outmatched. Kids fought hard but defense was shaky and couldn’t hit our pitching (which was off and nowhere near what they normally do). Tough to get out of a 3 game series with only 1 pitcher.
