Seeing a lot of HR’s hit this year, just curious on how many kids have hit over 5? I know St. John has a kid that leads the state with 13 I believe.

The amount of home runs mostly depends on field size. We play on a large field with the wind blowing in from left most games. We have two players with 5, one with 3, and five with 1. Playing at Delcambre on their small field, we hit 3 in the first inning. Two of those guys never hit one before and probably won’t in the future.

Seeing a lot of HR’s hit this year, just curious on how many kids have hit over 5? I know St. John has a kid that leads the state with 13 I believe. Houma Christian has 2 players with 8 apiece--Senior Catcher Dylan Trahan & Senior Shortstop/LSU Signee Gavin Dugas. Trahan is absolutely zeroed in & is simply crushing the ball at the present time & hit 3 of his 8 in the 2 games against Vermillion Catholic this past weekend. Dugas, on the other hand, has responded with 5 of his 8 since returning from an injury about 12 games ago after missing 13 games over the course of a month due to that injury. The rest of the Houma Christian Warrior lineup has added another 8-10 Homeruns for a total of around 25+- (so far). They will probably add at least a couple more this weekend against Opelousas Catholic.
