If you are in North Louisiana you uabe no reason to be home tonight if you are a fan of any of these schools or just a HSFF in general.
In Ehret/WM i am looking to see if WM's offensive line will be able to continuously establish the line of scrimmage against Ehret's front 7 withthe addition of Starks: and vice versa, will Ehrets defense show any improvements from last season against the run. New Marcus Scott is supposedly a defensive mind, so we shall see.
Neville/Ruston i want to see if Neville's defensive front will hold up against Rustons power running game. Will Ray Parker be available after sitting the jamboree out? Huge plus if available to keep Neville honest. Does Ruston have the team speed on defense to contain Nevilles offense that looks to be explosive this season--they showed flashes last week.
Bastrop/Carver, is in my opinion the top game in our area. Bastrop was the most impressive team at the Jamboree last weekend in my view. Carver is also deep and talented with speed all over the place. This could, and should, be a track meet. Bastrop is my sleeper team in 4-A. Their offense is as oiled as ive seen in our area in terms of passing offense in years, if not ever. A sight to behold.

I'm really interested to hear what bastrop does tonight. Big step up in competition. No offense to sterlington but I looked for this to be a down year for them in 3-a, in other words bastrop should have handled them. Now if bastrop does the same to Carver watch out.

WM wins in a close one. Neville Wins by 2 scores. Not impressed with Ruston. and WM wins 44 - 20 and it wasn't nearly as close as the score looks... WM took control in the 2nd half, held the ball the entire 4th qtr (Ehret didn't run an offensive play the entire 4th qtr)

They had over 300 total yards for the game to about 150 for the Patriots. Their QB is very good no doubt. The WM defense is overpowering at times at put a lot of pressure on him. The O line played well and this WM team is solid.

From the looks of their jamboree against Neville, this may be the year WM loses their first district game in decades when they hit Ruston.

John Ehret was an inept coaching wise as you will find in high school football. It was bad. Destrehan will put on a clinic.

Fanman, im thinking Ruston is going to win a close one at home. Senior laden team, but i still question their defense--Ruston that is. Would not surprise me if they lost though at all.

Would not surprise me if they lost though at all. If Acadiana turns the ball over it could be a long night for my Rams.Ball security will be key to us winning games this year. The Rams have 3 really good running backs and they don't fumble,it will be hard for some defenses to stop us.Against Kaplan, even though a 3A team, was really good and took advantage on 2 of our turnovers. If we don't fumble twice inside our own 20,Kaplan only scores 6 and the margin of victory would have been a double digit win.Ruston is to good to turn the ball over against.Good luck to both teams and have a good clean game, looking forward to it!!!
