Is St Martinville that good or is it a little fools gold Haven't seen them in person but it may be a fools gold. NISH, Lafayette, Comeaux, & Northside are not good teams. Only tests for the rest of the year will be Livonia, Opelousas, and Breaux Bridge. Hey woody, how you like y'all chances this week against another 1A team? I think y'all lose again and next week y'all will be praying for lightning!

We don’t pray for lighting, our guys go out there and play the full game. We also aren’t afraid to play on wet fields. I’ve never seen so many teams bow to the Red School and change the location of their games. It’s pathetic.

You call that team different names ,you make excuses, you criticize, you talk the talk but you cant walk the walk unlike INDY who is a man of his word and in ND LOSS to CHS he took a picture in a CHS state championship shirt in front of the STATE CHAMPION banner , that's why INDY has clout to his words unlike yours , bow down as you walk UNDER the gate of a STATE CHAMP banner to enter the stadium if you want to walk the walk, loser of this game has to where winners jersey for next years game.

Redbug, you don’t really expect cjr to accept that type of challenge, do you? Dude chirps a lot but there’s no substance to anything he says. I wish I could REALLY take him to task but it would be cruel to pick on the weak. Let’s face it, this guy is obviously unhinged because all he can think about is Lerrville’s week 9 game vs. Delcambre. It’s his only shot at avoiding going winless....and on top of that, at this point in the season it looks like Delcambre would be favored.

Did they ever teach you proper sentence structure at the school you attended? The lack of periods in your posts make it tough to follow. Now about that silly bet idea, I would never in my life put on a shirt or jersey representing that school. When that school stops recruiting and giving tuition assistance to athletes we can discuss silly bet ideas. I was asked earlier about the St Martinville team's season. That group of juniors had a spectacular 8th grade season a few years ago. Just so happens that they beat everyone, including that Red School. Guess what happened the very next day. Every family of an 8th grade player on that team received a phone call from people representing that Red School trying to recruit them. That's straight facts and they can deny all they want. However, like most private school fans, they will say they are giving an impoverished kid a chance for a better education and I don't see a problem with that. The problem I have is hiding behind the Catholic Church and using that as a way to get athletes into their school to win games.

come on mannn , don't care bout spelling just winning , we be just worrying bout whooping yals tails for the next 20 years, as far as recruiting all teams that win a lot are accused of recruiting seems to be a common cry by Losers, PROGRAMS like Amite,Kentwood,Sterlington,Acadiana,WESTMONROE,KARR don't cry they get to work again like I said EXCUSES ,as far as middle school football records, don't mean much, but our freshman and jv are undefeated and yal canceled to play our freshman.

we been avg. 12-17 kids per class over 30 years I don't see it changing in todays society , a lot of kids want to specialize in one sport , a lot of kids transfer to other schools for sports to get more playing time or for economic reasons because the oilfield was down my best guess , or the kids just cant handle the truth, the freshman class has 30 that's the biggest that has ever been there ,maybe we hired a new RECRUITER LOL .

Ask y’all BIG senior class from last year, they will know what I’m talking about. We basically have a large SR class every year. I only mentioned it because Y’all keep doging Loreaville about low numbers and they are barely a 2A school.

Any idea why y’all numbers are so low? Indy, don’t be so transparent....it’s not becoming. The reason our numbers are low have nothing to do with the idea you constantly float. I know why you do it, but it’s not worth getting upset about, especially because it’s not working. The truth is the number of players we have is due to a combination of things. The economy has our overall numbers down. Wait until those are published when reclassification occurs and you’ll see. Add to that the fact that Indest will play the best player available....even a true Freshman and you have kids who don’t want to work hard for two or three years without the guarantee of significant playing time. It’s the society we live in and a result of the fact that so many suffer from that you so often talk about. Rather than work hard and try to earn time on the field, some kids roll out. The good thing is that the kids who stick it out want to be there and work hard to get better.

Westgate just can't stay healthy. Will he be able to still play baseball this year? I forgot to answer this. Yes, he will be able to play baseball. I understand he tops out at 91 mph with his fastball. I actually have a feature article coming on him in the near future.

How good is the Lockett kid from New Iberia who is now at Lafayette Christian? Clean, he looks the part and he was a good player in middle school. He didn’t see the field much last year as a Freshman at CHS. He looked ready physically. From what I recall, this Spring he was getting reps at TE.

May be able to go JUCO, but would probably be one of the schools in Kansas that recruit this area hard.

Just stating facts that come straight from the horses mouth. You don't need to worry about our team, just keep making phone calls on behalf of Indest and paying athletes tuition. As I was told by a friend at the Red School, all students (athletes) have to pay something, it might just be $20 a year and we cover the rest but they have to pay something.

Rumor has it that LCA has been working on getting your QB to make the move. Have you heard anything along those lines?

Rumor has it that LCA has been working on getting your QB to make the move. Have you heard anything along those lines? That's really an honest questions, not busting chops on this one. Wouldn't a bone fide move need to be completed for him to be eligible in another parish? LCA has been trying to get our QB for a few years. Their coaches say they have no idea who he is, but the texts prove otherwise. Problem is that the LHSAA doesn't want to know what's really going on at certain schools. Trev is known to hire the pee-wee program directors to his staff in order to recruit players. The Seahawks out of north Lafayette are the program he is using these days. When he was at VC, he hired the guy who runs one of their programs. Once again, that's straight from the horses mouth, the coach he hired.
