Really amazing performance by both Zachary Diez (QB) and Tyler Cambre (WR) for the Lions this past week and all season long. I don't really post much about the Lions anymore as I know some have issues with AC not playing for district but I am really proud of the team and these young men and wanted to give them some recognition this year.
This past week against Fisher Zachary Diez was 21-33, 469 yards 4 TD 0 INT, Tyler Cambre had 7 receptions for 215 yds and 2 TDS. Also of note, our 3rd string RB Jaiden Barton rushed for 112 yards.
Tyler is a Senior and has really stepped up. Zachary Diez is a sopre and has really come into his own as a 1st year starter. Has developed good footwork in the pocket and has a really strong arm. Amazing improvement from last year.
On the season Zachary is 92-186 1697 yds 18 TD 5 INT and Tyler Cambre has 43 receptions for 868 yds and 9 TDS.
Lions host St. Martin's next week which should be a really good game.
I am realistic in our schedule strength but really proud of the team and those young men and watching them grow up. Doing some really impressive things on the field and going to be fun watching the program grow with these athletes leading the team.

They are certainly a dynamic combination.
Slaughter is tougher than last season though and Delcambre may be too. I don't know much about Ville Platte, but St. Martin's and KIPP-BTW should not give you too much trouble. All appear to be winnable games.
Good luck to the Lions!

Slaughter is a very senior-heavy team this year and is looking very impressive.
Ville Platte hurt us last year with their size and speed. Going to pose the same problems this year. Hopefully the next experience and maturity will help us this year. Last year against them we had a deer in headlights look.
I feel like every game left is a tossup. Need to play good football to have a chance to get a W.
We have a Sopre WR named Nathan Bledsoe that is starting to come into his own and may end up being a special player, Only have 3 seniors this year which is leading to some optimism.

Delcambre is better than they showed last week vs West Saint Mary. They were definitely off that night.

Delcambre is better than they showed last week vs West Saint Mary. They were definitely off that night. Definitely not sleeping on Delcambre. From what I’ve seen of them I think they can give us lots of problems. If we make mistakes like we did early on they’ll win big.
