Rumor from a friend at the school says that ASH will be looking for a new head coach next season. James Halle and the school have parted ways. Not sure if they have someone else in mind already, or if Halle had another job lined up.
5A school in a decent baseball area, this one should get some decent inquiries. First name that pops to mind would be Greg Briggs who was at Live Oak but has spent this season as an assistant at Pineville.

Briggs or former Menard coach Jeff Adams , if he’s ready to get back in it, would both be excellent choices. Briggs may have come back home at the perfect time.

I think all of his kids have graduated now so he may be willing to get back in. Last I heard he was teaching at an elementary school in the area, so from a certification standpoint it should run smoothly. Sure he could get a nice little offer to be ISS or PE coach and make things easy on him.

Briggs is in line at Pineville as was rumored when he came back to Cenla last year..... and now that Keith Hood is stepping down to be AD, he's in line to take over.
Briggs has his choice now..... attempt to resurrect the Pineville program that has been dead for years or take over a program with better talent with more potential for success at ASH.
